That would be the only thing that I have ever agreed with him about. lol I'm glad I didn't see that before i tried them or might not have ever became a vaper. lol I do commend him for sticking up for vaporers though and wish more celebs would. I would prefer they weren't that confrontational though but at least he spoke up.

Liberals hate Rush because he's one of the few that nail them at their 'I know what's best for you' game and then try to force their ideas on you through gov't. They do it in every aspect of our lives including cigs and ecigs. If ecigs ever got as big as 'big tobacco' or 'big pharma', they'd be against ecigs too. Don't doubt me. :)

Well said Kent!

I have heard of Rush's support of ecigs before. I can't wait to watch these vids and see what he's saying now. I hate having video blocked at work. I will watch these as soon as I get home in 6 hours... UGH!

As my friends tell me I'm a devout "liberal", I hate Rush and his usual faucet of misinformation. Then again, this whole "Liberal vs. Conservative" thing is B.S. I love Obama (really, best president in my lifetime), and have a safe full of guns, including a dozen or so "assault rifles" (ARs are like "mods" in the gun world). I've also been in two branches of the military and spend every free moment hunting & fishing. But I've been best man at a "Commitment Ceremony", and believe in Health Care reform.

Overall, I think people like Rush, who try to put us into buckets, are screwing up the political landscape. We need to be focusing on the tough job of working out stuff in the middle. instead of screaming at each other from opposite ends of the prescribed political spectrum. This ..... is hard, and we need to work on it, together. Anyway, that's my view.

But hey, part of his story was entertaining. Until it became a story about his fame.

Not sure this is the correct forum to get really political, and I thank you for your military service, but there is a few problems with your statement. There are no shades of gray in cetain arenas, politics being one of them in my opinion. If you truly think Barack Obama is the best president ever, I would like to know why. Is it his indescision? His laziness? His aloofness? His "holier than thou" attitude? His ineptness? His weakness? His apologizing? His frequent vacations? His avoiding major issues? His "laser like focus" on whatever issue?

His one term will be over soon, and I will be exteremely happy on that day, as then the US can get back to business, not bowing and apologizing.

It's not. :) If it continues this will be moved to the Outside real quick. We should move back to the idea of famous people - regardless of who they are - that promote ecigs. I'm not a fan of Letterman - he's a jerk and not that funny - but I'm glad for the segment with Kathleen Hiegl? and him trying one out on TV.

You write well for a 2 year old......lmao. I'm hoping you get the joke, if not, I'm going to sound like a real jerk. :)

1st - I don't mean to get political. And I hope this thread doesn't implode
2nd - my military service was trivial. I got my education paid for, guaranteed home loan, etc, for working a few jobs. Kids today, however, are paying their dues.
3rd - Words like "lazy" are tough to digest, about someone who has made it to the head of my country.
4th - My comments were directed more at the media, and how they try to put us into buckets. I hunt & fish frequently, and my garage is better armed than the average Libyan neighborhood.

I just take issue when the media tries to put us into buckets.

And this goes both ways, BTW. I have frequent debates with people on both ends of the political spectrum. Everyone is expected to line up entirely on one side, or the other. And that bugs me.

There are famous people using ecigs that could hurt the cause. Like Kathy Griffin or Genene Garafolo ... death knell right there.
