OK I figured I'd post this here. I'm using my Serpent exclusively, and I can say without a doubt it's the best atty I've ever owned (not saying much, I only have 3

). Now here's how I wick it with rayon: I do the Scottish roll thing to get the fibers even and snug, wick as per normal, then I deviate a bit. I'll cut the wick just past the deck, fluff/pancake, then pinch the ends so it looks like a bowtie. I'll place the wicks in the channels, then hack off whatever sticks up (those of you who have an aqua v2 recognize this method). I'll then wet the wicks really well, push the edges into the channel, pull up the tails a bit and trim the ends so when I place the wicks back there's a small gap between the bottom and the end of the wick. I HAVE HAD ABSOLUTELY NO LEAKS/WEEPING DOING THIS!!! Not only that, the wick keeps up beautifully! Folks if you own a Serpent you really should give this a shot! Much better than the standard way IMHO.
