Yep. Where did you order from? Believe I was the one to suggest you order the shiny first since you have nothing to mix with it. Could be wrong, it was a Wednesday after all. I haven't dared to go back and read those posts.

They were cute posts..

Subjectivity. I'm glad you found what works for you but I do not believe the experiment's result would be the same for all. I for one would be bored and frustrated before the first tank needed a refill. I also doubt it would be as effective for new vapers if they started on unflavored.
I am not saying it is for everyone. I used to love my Vanilla flavors and vaped them all day every day for about a year. Gradually over time i found them too strong and dropped down from about 7% to 2% where i found the flavor was actually better. Now i love trying out different nicotine's and discovering their subtle flavor differences.

My current favorite is Heartlands Ultra premium, a lovely European chemnovatic nicotine. It reminds me of a dry white wine like Sauvignon Blanc with a touch of maybe brazil nut, really delicious.

The thing i found with unflavored was you need to try it for at least a couple of days exclusively with unflavored. Then when you go back and try flavored it tastes over powering and chemically. I hate flavored now and if i try it i soon crave unflavored again. A few days on unflavored and i bet you would not go back to flavoring again.
Maybe if I diy, it would be different, but I really dislike the sweeteners in most juices. I don’t think vaping is a flavor thing for me. The mt baker unflavored is ok, was honestly surprised unflavored had a taste of its own

Did you use those weird looking mesh sticks? The video I watched showed them torching the mesh first and was merely assuming these were rolled up mesh and would need to follow that procedure

Todd uses the rods and mesh in his video on the Kraken.

Sticks and Rods????
It's Stainless Steel Rope/Cable I always hit them with the torch to clean off any machine residue. Also if it's too long, you cannot cut them with side cutters as that will just crush them. A cutoff wheel in the Dremel works perfectly or a wire rope cutter.

The mesh will need to be torched to create the oxidization layer, electrically insulating it from the coil. If you don't oxidize it with a torch, it will take quite a while trying to work the hot spots out of the coil. (Possible melted center post insulator...) The advantages to a mesh build is pure flavor and it lasts for months and months. Just dry burn and rise under the tap, you are immediately good to go again.

You can use the Petar K method of oxidizing the mesh with the coil itself. I have had good luck doing it that way on a few occasions.

Mad props to the guy, vaping the Pluid on a genny.   I always wanted a bottle of Pluid but it is IMPOSSIBLE to get here in Canada.

Or you can just cheat and use cotton :nah:, but that seriously defeats the purpose of a forever lasting mesh build.

Depending on the LPI of your mesh and how you wrap it, you might need to adjust the PG/VG ratio of your juice. I always ran a 50/50 ratios on genny's with 325 or 400 mesh. Some can get 100%VG to wick on 500 but I couldn't. Remember too that 28ga & 30ga was the wire of the day with genny's.

Lol.. you thought that was funny?

I spent the time reading it thanking God that the men I've had sex with had been taught basic hygiene as children...

Which, might be funny in and of itself but I just cant help but feel the gentleman who wrote that needs some hygiene help.. especially where concerns personal cleanliness after BM's (not to be confused with B&M's)...

So sad.

Poo jokes are always funny :p and I wax.

This reminds me of when I switched from menthol cigarettes to reds. After a pack or two, I couldn't hit a menthol stinky unless I had nothing else.

I don't want to go back there, either.

I will be cheating until I decide if I actually enjoy vaping with it as much as I enjoy looking at it. If I do I will try the mesh.;)

Dean has a video on how he converted the Ram to a proper mech by getting rid of that sketchy ground wire.

That's not my style. I'm only a modder by necessity and I often make things worse by f'ing with it.

Oil change, servicing, car wash, registration... I would much rather be buying shinies!!!!:mad::mad:

On a different note, I went into a “high end” (in the name) smoke shop that I knew price gouged noobs just to see how bad they were... Dude said Smok was the best products on the market. He also negotiated down to $70 from $85 for a VooPoo Drag, even if I bought 4 and wanted to charge $10 for Sourin Drop cartridges which are $5 down the street. The only thing “high end” in that shop was the prices!

I've been meaning to post that here. Saw it last night on the Mod Squad group just before lights out.
