I can talk you out of speakers. The husband handles the speaker situation, so I'm just going to say to you what I say to him every time. "But, you already HAVE speakers."
"Rationale, blah blah blah blah."
"You know I'm hard of hearing (a bit, thank you OPIATES) but I can hear everything
just fine."
"Unfair argument."
"How much are they?"
"Cost of speakers---
totally fictional number may follow."
"Nope. No new speakers, not unless you want me to reactivate my shinyitis."
And, by the way, went to Freedom Smoke USA to collect my win, and I'm not a hugest fan of commercial juices by now, but tasted some and landed on a coco-rasberry concoction that isn't overflavored at all, and rather delicious. I am vaping it right now, in a Siren V2. It was fun to go in and staff were great. I will probably buy more when I run out, I like it enough to do so. Also they had educational materials out about battery safety!!!
Now, very shortly here I need to do yoga. The rest of the outing was okay, except Snickers almost bit a kid. SHE HATES THEM. LOL, we devised a new strategy to attack that problem. I'm glad I was there because my kid could take her out IMMEDIATELY while I went over thankfully, no skin was broken, and I am going to get a warning label for her to wear so kids don't show up really fast and unexpectedly, and the dad was busy yelling at the kid for "his approach" while I was able to make sure nothing bad happened, apologized profusely to dad, etc., and also explained to the kiddo that the damn dog was just as scared of him as he was of IT, and that she was a rescue dog and kids were mean to her, etc., and daddy was relieved, and chilled out, and I told the kiddo if he ever comes by again, to the park, while we were there, we would have her on a leash if any kids show up, and he was welcome to be brave and return, if he so desired, but that me and my kid needed to make sure she was leashed and restrained and maybe he could help her learn all kids don't suck, etc. And left, shaking the dad's hand. Oy . Yes, I know how to simmer these situations down and figured it would happen at some point, kids are just SUPER speedy.
Thank GOD the kid was OK, because if I had to accompany the kid to go get her put down, that would not have been at ALL cool.
He had to just pick the hardest one, now didn't he. LOL.
