1974. It kind of makes me feel better about my lack of maturity on this thread. Good morning shiny folk. Aggh, I just dropped and possibly killed an Ego Mega V2 tank. They might as well be disposable tanks for me, and I love them so.

Yep, I spent about 45 minutes trying to get my darn ego mega 2 tanks to register coils. No luck.

CALLING all the shinies, I WON an ego mega version ONE, and it's so much better Anyone know where I might scoop up a couple more? Even a decent ebay seller. They just are So Much Less Finicky and I even prefer the vape. I need MOAR!!! Help.

Humm 1981 here but I have aches, pains, and arthritis as well. The FDA thinks they know best, and have been allowed to run rampant for far too long, and sad to say it is too late to stop them

Okay so I got around the problem and bought two starter kits. It was an unpleasant browse, lemme tell you. HOWEVER, it really wasn't much more than the tank alone, and it's going to be overall cheaper than replacing an Ego one mega V2, every two weeks. The worst that will happen is that I LIKE the battery and etc., and will have a couple spare tubular things.

Sometimes I get like that, and today I GOT like that. There is nothing worse than a freaking tank I LOVE but cannot use, due to my destructive tendencies coupled to the fact that it's not really designed for those coils.

It was like 30 bucks for two of them, which is really about 10 more than EACH and EVERY listing I saw for the tank alone, that was also "sold out."

Please, vape stores, I IMPLORE you, take down your dang listing if it's out of stock and discontinued. You KNOW you won't be "restocking" IMO, it's just a way for them to go, "But look at what else I can buy."

I do not want to buy SOMETHING else, and if I did, I'd be searching for IT. You bringing me to your page for giggles is ONLY going to make me want to buy from you in the future less. It's not good marketing IMO.

It rained here yesterday, so I was a lazy bum. I needed that couch potato day. Cleaned out my tanks, dropped new coils, and watched Lost in Space ( the series, next bum day I’ll watch the movie lol).

Vaping strawberry coconut in my Pico. Gotta say, was not impressed with the Melo tank, gave me some grief getting it up and going. First, there was a stray piece of rubber gasket sticking out of the weird air hole, and as I was not able to take that apart to see why, I had to just pull the rubber out with pliers. Then, I primed and soaked one of the included coils, and the mod said atomizer short. I fiddled to no avail, swapped it for the other coil, also included.

Now it’s woking fine, surprisingly good flavor. I still have an attitude towards the tank though, for all the headaches, plus it looks and feels kind of junky. Not sure I’ll buy more coils for it. I like the mod though, and I do like that the tank matches. So maybe I will.

Does the latest melo take triton coils? That’s what I used in the 2. Vaping.com did have them for $5 a box.. edit, they do

If you do, get Atlantis coils. I love Eleaf mods. Their tanks are Ok. Their ECxx coils are not good.

I forget not everyone chooses to go high power like me at a whopping 12w . Either are much better coils

I’m running into the same thing, every tank. Hard to find them solo, and at $20-30 a pop, and the kits being only $10 more than the mod... well they know us, I’ll give them that!

Fortunately, I’m finding kits to be so much better than they used to be, not nearly as expensive for much better quality, and tanks that actually work well with the mods. I’m really happy with most of my recent buys, and not unhappy with anything- except maybe my bank statements lol.
