It's working, loaded up other peoples settings and themes which allowed me to turn off temp protect. Now it's a matter of finding better profiles and fine tuning.

Sometimes ya just gotta scorch some.......

Was speaking in generalities, we could do temp coefficients, and so on if you like, but you'll find what you like and it'll be instict.

DJLsb has a SS316L file in the evolv section of his site..Download the CSV file and load it to the device with escribe

The DJLsb SS316L Profile is perfect. Seriously, I can't believe it took so much search from multiple sources to get the device set up... They should have a perfected profile set up from the get go if it is considered a consumer product ready for release to the public.

There are just so many variables with the device.. Unless your a freak like us, the average user really doesn't have a chance on dialing it in correctly..IMHO, YMMV

You can't enter TCR values on a DNA mod on the fly, you must have multiple SS316L wire profiles loaded.

I mostly run SS430 or NiFe30 & 48 in TC mode.

My point was simply, take your base setting, and go from there. Predisposed settings suck......

The factory settings made temp control unusable with 316L, I threw away a build thing it was my fault. It was not until the shop owner noticed I had a Therion in my hand that he mentioned the SS316 cluster-.... and that I needed to load a more accurate profile, the other shop employees looked like monkey humping a football, saying everything looked perfect. I would not have looked if he didn't say anything and the mod had been on the shelf since I bought it since it only did wattage mode and I did not have time to tinker. It is perfect now, perfect TC and a great, usable theme.

A couple people hit the Dicodes today, they just about crapped their pants; I do not think most people realize what a properly tuned device could do...

I started reading the user manual you posted on that.. I was amazed..and confused at the same time.. Really intrigued by it
