Grr. I did not expect to spend most of mother's day dealing with ANOTHER Recluse bit, but that's what happened.

It truly, totally sucked and also, I must've gone to 15 pharmacies too, I had no idea Costco's didn't open on Sundays. Lucky me.

I also got a steroid shot, and a week's worth of steroids, so if I appear (weirder) than usual, it's probably that. I spent most of the day in tears, and I don't even... I wasn't sad. I also spent about 45 minutes sitting in the Walmart aisle with (purloined, although I did buy them) magnification glasses, asking google the various chemical names of Boric acid, and trying to figure out what poisons were in WHAT compounds, because I am going to

BORIC THE ENTIRE PERIMITER OF THE HOUSE (inside and outside). And also a pemitter further OUTSIDE the house.

This is war. Oddly, I think the last time it happened was right after I joined here, this is war!!!!!!!!!!!

THE BUGS are ALL going to die. For best efficacy, I should probably call PETA to come lovingly "rehome" all the bugs on my area. I may call and ask, just for fun. "PETA, I'm about to kill infinity bugs and possibly use a flame thrower too, would you like to intervene? You can throw pale yellow goo on me if you'd like, you know, just because I hate animals... "

Heh.

We recently were told to use peppermint oil around the house.
Story goes that bugs mice and almost everything hates the smell.
It's pet friendly and bonus it smells like peppermint not bug spray.

Researching online we found ALOT of people swear by it.

Some use spray around windows etc.. and many put it on cotton balls in basements and attics.

Anyway I just ordered some so we will see soon.

Well,I've entirely lost my taste for vendor juice so I'm 100% DIY now.My latest kick is trying new kinds of mixes.....just out of curiosity. If I happen to like any it's a plus. I do however have to buy a few new flavors for my endeavor so that's slowing me down a bit but I'll be mixing some new stuff soon.

Beautiful pets, I love them photos. Just in case y’all insect murderers didn’t know, nicotine is a good way to murder them little gross f-ers . So if you got some bad juice and it has enough of the nic, let em have it. Oh and to keep things on track here a gratuitous pet pic.

Crap. That’s decent looking but $250!!!
Yep. That is the cheapest I saw in stock. I wasn't looking for those so i didn't dig deep. I wouldn't personally spend that much on a device but some do. I am in love with my $25 Pulse. Probably the toughest mod I have ever had. It has hit the deck half a dozen times so far and not a scratch. If I get anything out there it will probably be another Pulse bf or a Pulse 80. I am deciding if the regulated is worth 2× the money...

I tried the peppermint oil last fall when some mice wanted to move in. Unfortunately it didn’t work. As a matter of fact none of the “natural” remedies worked. I started humanely trapping them & releasing in my neighbors yard lol! Ended up having to get an exterminator unfortunately for the mice.
