using a 45W pre-heat (set around 6) is making a difference i think...get the wire mass hot a bit more quickly. AFC 1/3 closed and the tails of the rayon thinned out more than i usually would.
i've got about 7 (i think) other BF RDAs but they're all 24mm so don't sit well on the therion.
have a nudge 22mm on my wish list. heard good things about it.

The nudge is a good one.
I still use a Velocity bf and a Freakshow Mini bf, oldies but goodies. Lol.

Scorch test dry cotton @ 420F to dial in correct TCR.
Start at the high end of the range (102) and work your way down.
Ugh. My back feels like someone stabbed me between the spine and shoulder blade.
It's been over a week. It starts healing and gets re-aggravated.
IOW there are decent directions for the scorch test if you want.
Look in the rayon TC thread maybe
@mikepetro I can't type anymore. Got a minute to help with scorch test directions?

Nite folks
Sorry, I am not your guy, all I use is rayon. Never really developed a trust in scorch tests as I dont use cotton. Went straight from hemp to rayon.

Mine, too. But I'm too old for a lot of this psychedelic stuff. My Exus Ark is about as bold as I can get and still maintain my classy, gentlemanly facade. :D

I could go for a solid crimson. @jfcooley... do you think your guy could do some if I gave him a Pantone color code number?
I want to say yes, but I know the truth is no. I'll keep a lookout though.

I'm too much of a scaredy cat to try something called a scorched cotton test. :)

I start low and work up until I get what I call a warning hit. First things first though--gotta get the starting resistance right. If a mod can't do that it doesn't matter much how accurate its calculation is.

You need that brachial plexus pain looked after. The neuropathy that has cost me 80% of the use of my right hand started with intense shoulder, neck and upper back pain.

morning all.
nothing much that's shiny grabbing me apart from the pulse and maybe the recurve (though i think it'd be too wide for my therion 75C).
mostly caught up with group.
Not too wide.

Naturally, the day I get my 2 LTRS of nic from what I think might be the last of the NicSelect, is the day I hear Nude NIc (1st fav) has slashed all their prices. It is true. 1 Ltr there now is $60 and it used to be more. Cannot remember what I used to pay per LTR but I think it was $90
I know, I got the email. I’m trying to talk myself out of getting more. My freezer is full. And I think I have enough nic for 15-20 years...

OMG we were just talking bugs - you got bit?

Yes. For the third time. I've been organizing all my hidey spaces so that I can bomb the place with Boric Acid. ALMOST THERE. I also don't want to do it on steroids, I get over enthusiastic about things. I am VERY enthusiastic to never get bit by a recluse again. Treatment is always a pain. :)

Anna

ETA:: Fingers and toes crossed for you and your hubby, Fran. :)
