Used to do HVAC for a living.
Two tips I have for you. One, be liberal with the pipe dope. Two, check for leaks before turning the gas back on. Use an air compressor. It'll be way more pressure than a gas line ever sees, so if you're safe with that, you're safe, period.
Use lighter to check for leaks after gas has been turned on.......

Believe it or not, that used to be the beginning of many hilarious stories told by gas company techs.
My favorite being an extended tale involving an imbecile lighting up a smoke while looking for a gas leak, then promptly being blown out the door he just entered.
Stupid is as stupid does.

So I placed my first order with Healthcabin yesterday. Thanks to @ilporcupine for mentioning this:
Tesla Stealth 40W 1300mAh Kit with Shadow 2ML Tank Atomizer-Red

Trouble was, they have funny rules for shipping. No free shipping on 'clearance' items (fair enough) and totals for hardware and eliquids are calculated separately :?:

I threw a few more things in my cart, but shipping was still coming in at about $45. Ended up throwing more in my cart and getting just over $200 worth of stuff - but did get shipping down to $9. Guess there is a win there somewhere, because I have now started my Christmas Shopping:)

Been buying lately. Seems hard to stop, but I think I will try again.

In fairness, I am liking the top airflow of the Zeus. Even though I turn it way down. All my mods are 22mm and the Zeus is 25mm. I don't know why I bought them in 25mm.

My therapist asked whether I was setting myself up to have to buy new 25mm mods now or did I secretly just want stronger meds. I don't know.

The Jac Vapour 75watt 25mm mod seems good. I always get two so one can charging. Batteries are getting old. I got 4 at Easter, but they are only 3000mAH. I see there are 3300s out now.

Life goes on.

Love my Jac sandstorm. The 22 limits what tanks I can use, but they’re both durable and small.

Morning, shiners!

I watched that video Mike did, and a couple others before I got that tank. I’m sure I heard somewhere not to flip it. Otherwise, I do flip the ones that take drop ins if they have bottom air and top fill.

I think I have them put together tight enough, because they never leak except after filling. I’ll goof with them. Wicking is easy to do, hard to get perfect lol.

I know you guys are joking about the gas, but that’s how my grandfather died ( long before I was born, this was late ‘40s).

He was doing glue down tile in the basement of a small store. He’d turned off the furnace pilot. At some point, the shop owner came down and turned it back on. The glue fumes built up, the building exploded. Shop owner did not see the point of everyone in the building being cold during the install. Killed a few people, injured a few more, put him out of business, left the tenants from the upstairs apartments homeless.

Needless to say, whenever I’ve used any paint, glue, polyurethane, etc in this House, I shut all the valves and triple check the pilots.

This house did give me a scare years ago. Came home to find the gas Co. in my backyard. The main broke, right up by the house. I grabbed the dog and the bird and left until they gave the all clear. My daughter and I still talk about that, driving around with the cockatiel in a paper bag lol.
