Good luck, Coastal Cowboy, LOL I did that "thing" when the kid turned 16, it was a bit terror inducing. He totaled his car on the way to work by swerving to avoid feral puppies in the road.
I had to have a long talk with him about the "personal safety vs. love for animals thing." I would not swerve to avoid an animal unless I was 100% sure I would not endanger myself OR others, but I guess it's an easy rookie mistake to make. Wishing you luck.
I avoided ALL Memorial day sales and I'd be proud of myself but it's so mysteriously easy to avoid shopping when you are poor. LOL.
I'm going to take today a bit easy. I cleaned the entire house and I mean DECLUTTTERED everything found homes for everything and scrubbed it. The husband returned home (happily) to a house that hasn't been this organized in the fire... My main goals for the day are to remember finding work is a goal, not a race, and doing yoga. I'm so pleased about the house though, it really helped my cranky self just chilllll…. Plus, my mind is always happier when my house is clean. Got all the (dead) bugs and there were no live ones to be seen. So glad I boric acided and etc. It's been great.
Oh shoot, I forgot I gotta take the kid to his "driver's license" reinstatement thing, where he can be assessed as "safe" to drive again. LOL, irony. But it's not until later this afternoon. Should give me tons of time to ah, play with my smartphone and job search then and etc. I hope it doesn't take forever, although I am counting even such grim excursions as "I get to see the kid today!" given he's leaving sooner every day. Etc.
