LOL my son's "area to go" was his bedroom and he had a huge speaker system in there. He has always been a rap admirist, so I very carefully NEVER told him that I LOVED his music.

a) it would have chapped his sulking
b) kiddos need their own music
c) the one and only thing I blame rap for is inventing autotune. I mean, it's a good thing, but the pop scene JUST ran with it.

I muse about it when Madonna's early stuff comes on the radio,. That lady may have had assets, but singing wasn't one of them. LOL.

To be fair, U2 would have gotten NOWHERE without Brian Eno capitalizing on singing on the high end of the note. And also getting him singing lessons.

Now, bands like 21 Pilots make me HURL, not to mention the "new" divas Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus. If I were in the music biz, I would TURN OFF the live autotune every now and then, but the sad part is, it would make little difference (probably).

LOL

getting ready to drive to NM, CO, then OK for a small family reunion. I still want to buy a boat to live on,,,hubby doesn't want that... so I drag him around to land to build a tiny house.. he is more open to that,, but finds 'a problem' with every piece of land. (he is not good with change,,, and i love change). He is semi open to the idea of taking a year to drive around the nation,,, (this next road trip is to no where in particular,,,, so we will see if he is ok with it)

I wouldnt even mind moving to a tiny town,, one that is shrinking.. get away from the crowds.

other than that,, not much,, trade the market,, get rid of stuff,, visit with the neighbors lol

I love the idea of a tiny house but not toooooo tiny. Problem is in many places are regulations etc...

I may go the @jfcooley route and get an additional hobby. I have four browser tabs open. I'm shopping for outdoor antennae, masts, rotors and preamps. Now that Sling and other streaming TV services get ESPN, I can kick AT&T/DirecTV to the curb this football season.

I started streaming with roku and dropped the cable. Saves me about $150 a month, and I’m watching better shows and movies.

Princess #3’s friend arrived with the intention of trying vaping again. Someone had given her a mech, a battery with half a wrap ( clear with a bit of yellow, no other markings on the battery itself) and no tank.. Immediately tossed the battery , got the emergency Pico out of the car, and bought the only tank available at the boondocks vape store (tobeco mini). She’s quite happy, but doesn’t grasp why the mech a)needed a new battery and b) wouldn’t work with the zenith tank I keep here as a backup. Lord help us in a world where I am the voice of reason

I was going to do that. I picked up 10 acres in southern Arizona about 20 years ago. The planning application to build a house was one page, you could fill it out and it would be approved on the spot. There were only 2 rules. First you had to have either a septic system or a composting toilet. Second you had to build no less that 120 sq ft. Rural counties don't have too many rules.
I was camping there once and I heard noises outside. Stuck my head out of the tent and there was a cowboy riding by. He doffed his hat and said morning sir.

I was ready to retire there but instead I got married. Wife wasn't too keen on scorpions and rattlesnakes for company.

That's a rewrapped 30Q or HG2. Mooch tested that cell a few years ago.

MXJO Yellow/Silver 35A 3000mAh 18650 Bench Test Results...only a 15A-20A battery, but near an HG2

Chances are that battery has been pushed way beyond its 15-20A CDR and y'all did the right thing in setting it aside.

That looks like it could be right. Without the whole wrap, it’s only a guess. I don’t have rewraps here, but I sure wouldn’t put an unknown, let alone unwrapped  battery in a mech. It’s a lovely tarnished brass pipe bomb in my eyes, especially for someone with less knowledge than my tiny bit.
