Took the dogs to the vet for Rudy’s annual check up and shots. Treated them to some chicken nuggets, treated me to some Fat Tire. It goes alright with my peanut butter pie juice.

Morning all! Coily looks very intriguing, even though I don’t have any postless decks. What a great idea, I hope they make bank selling them

It's not for postless decks Mel, You measure the posts with the tool and then trim the legs of the coil by inserting it into the corresponding measurement and then install the coils

The very first Coily ad touted the fact that it would "make life 10x easier for users with a postless deck."

Now, the coily website has a database of what lengths work best in a particular RTA or RDA. You look up your atty, and then cut your legs using their recommendation, or you can measure posts and use it that way.

Also, a few manufacturers of postless deck attys are including recommended coil leg lengths to be used with these tools and are even making their own to go with their atty's.

Postless decks is what is what designed for use with.

YT videos I've seen show measuring of the posts prior to inserting the coils.

Either way, I found it to be useful with what I do and wanted to pass it along.. buy it or do not, doesn't make any difference to me
Admit it is useful for some. I do not consider it a need to have tool. If I built numerous coils for stock go tos I might be tempted to get one for convenience. For my postless decks I find it easier to just wrap an extra coil to keep as a guide.

My point is that it is also for postless decks.
The first coily looked nothing like the current iteration.

I edited my reply. I wasn't clear that it does as you say also. :)

It's an absolutely wonderful tool, wasn't trying to argue; just saying that it is for postless decks too.
I edited (again) so I didn't sound so douchey, lol.
Someday I'll get this whole abrasive thing figured out. :D

You can even post your own leg length recommendations for attys on their database.
Kind of a user helping user kinda thing.

I always said the same thing about coil jigs.
Then I found one on sale, and now I use it every time lol.
My laziness won out. :D

Today's Game of Dress Up:

Striking the right balance between Tucson's Heat and a "I do not want to bang your convict" vibe. LOL, I'm asking my PDoc THAT today, too.

LOL, there have been times in my life when I've purchased an outfit and inquired of him, "So, is this a bit too MANICKY for work?" LOL. He looked startled, understood my inquiry was genuine and just looked me head to toe, and answered "No." LOL, nope, not a come on just a genuine inquiry by a chick trying to manage her mood.

LOL I cut my own bangs (they were scraggly and they look great).

@NolaMel , you want it, you should buy it. JMO as always. The idea of a postless deck makes ME cringe but I bet some of them were great.

LOL I don't believe anything can get worse than yesterday but I had to put on panty hose. BLACK ones and that's just wrong in the summer here. LOL.

ROFLMAO.
When my wife worked very briefly in the medical wing of the local county jail, she had to start wearing t-shirts under her scrub top. Inmates were getting closer to her than she liked just to look down her top.
Maybe they were hopeful. A nurse did get fired from there shortly before she started working for having sex with inmates.

To each their own.
I wouldn't touch a Pico Squeeze or a Dripbox, but some people love them.
I was -> <- close to buying one last year and then read the reviews here from actual users. TC sucks and it had a hard time hitting any power selection the user wanted.
