Yep. Rural South Tucson Sucks.

I lived in Syndey for a few years and was out in the wilderness (okay albeit mostly on a horse heh) but GOD.

Tucson: Bit by 3 brown recluses, one dog bit by rattlesnakes 4 times, another once. Got bit by scorpion ONCE. God, it HURTS, BTW Saw (or rather heard first going WHUT is that noise, I was smoking in the hammock chair I think) and ran inside screaming "SNAKE SNAKE SNAKE!" (The husband killed it too). Also, saw a (small brown those HURT) scorpion swimming in my SHOWER (only the fact that I had JUST asked the husband to unclog the drain saved me).

Saw a few too many gigantic flying cockroaches in the bathroom (they were coming in through THE DRAINS) and also the last recluse I lost my mind and told the husband to CLOSE up the house, even if it killed him, LOL, and then I BORIC ACIDED the heck out of the house (got boric acid poisoning a bit actually IT WAS SO WORTH IT) and made the husband check all the pipes for points of entry.

So far, everything I've found has been dead. LOL. It's so much better that way. But we live on an acre of desert, sometimes there isn't just much you can do honestly, and the coyotes come in all the time. Also at one point (the underside of the house was completely open at this point) a PACKRAT was coming in and EATING my jolly ranchers. I didn't find this out the first day so like, for a while me and the packrat were sharing. I really sort of came to admire its enterprising spirit in a way, because it took the husband MONTHS to find and kill it/kill them all I'm not sure.

The only friendly thing around here are BUNNIES! I love them! They probably attract snakes, I'm sure, but I put them on a FIRM "Do not kill order" LOL, I mean, they're the only nice friendly wildlife I SEE around here, ever.

LOL, you should see me approach the sheds. It is with extreme caution and a HUGE amount of noise.

But, gotta say, I think you just get used to it. I'm glad I don't have scars really because the recluse bites were on my face. LOL. As I was sleeping. I paid great care with the boric acid to the windows next to my bed.

I'mma gonna do it again in 6 months only I will be wearing a hazmat suit because I followed ALL their precautions and still got the twitches and threw up.

Tucson... Yeah you'd think we'd move but I'm actually fairly happy. NOW.

LOL.

Anna

12W... That should be weeks between charges on a 26650 or 21700.
Y’all knew I was such a rebel already . Actually got a day and a halfish off the 21700 (Samsung 48G). Had maybe 1/3 power left. Have a vapecell 26650 in the other. Running one of each to see which one gets more mileage. So far, not as good as dual 18650’s in the DB. That usually gets me 3-4 days.
