The problem is, JFC is in a "mood cycle." He buys something, he is happy. He waits for it, he becomes enraged.... He buys something, it is not delivered. The rage builds. He buys several things, and then the anger becomes monumental.
The only real solution I can see here is that JFC starts a vape shop. I'm sure he'd whip those China wholesalers into shape

Dunno there, but seems USPS will still get paid to not deliver mail. My stuff was supposed to arrive yesterday but is sitting an hour away for 2 days.

I didn't even think about that. If the post office can deliver though, mud, rain and snow or whatever their little saying is, surely they can deliver through a government shutdown (that was sarcasm-enabled, BTW)?
Guess I will be noting if I get a mis-informed delivery email this morning. Also, what will Amazon prime do? (My guess is keep delivering, they seem to have discovered some monumental secret that they hold over the post office,) I wish I could buy my mods from China, but "facilitated by Amazon" or however it is they word it. I bet you anything they may be the first out of the gate with drones. While I love Amazon dearly, I also wonder about its business practices sometimes.
Not anything terrible, but I do sometimes wonder if they will take over the World. LOL.
No new vape equipment for a while may be a good and get me digging through my (now extraordinarily organized) vape closet for new things to set up, it may be excellent for my shinyitis

Apparently customs will continue to operate, per this article - Here's which parts of the federal government will remain open during a government shutdown
"not all government agencies and departments will shut down — services that are deemed "essential" will continue to operate. This includes any federal government work related to national security, law and order, and emergency life-and-death services. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, for instance, will continue to operate."
I would expect them to operate somewhat slower though.
Oh wow... I didn't think of that however essential services are still in affect so I doubt it would affect customs.. (that's essential right?)
