Got my 8vape shinies yesterday, a pair of Zeuses and fanciers to stash away. Sapphire and silver, this time, because one never knows when a lovely blue mod will come along, and it’d be a shame if it had nothing to wear.

I didn’t even open the package till this morning. Had a dozen errands to run, felt like crap, but sucked it up and ran all day. Just got in the door and saw missed calls on my phone ( I set it to do not disturb while I’m driving). My mom apparently fell yesterday, and was taken to the hospital. Thankfully, the worst of it was a sprained wrist. Last time, she smacked her head and broke her shoulder. That was a scary one.

In my to-do list yesterday was make her some soup and bring it over along with some yogurt. If I’d put that ‘bring it over’ part before the ‘pick up Rudy’s pills Dom the vet’ maybe none of this would have happened. She’d have been visiting with me rather than walking around.

It was so windy, and she’s so tiny, her apartment manager said it look like the wind blew her down.

If it were up to me, she’d be in a nursing home. She’s almost 88 and it’s scary that she’s on her own. But she’s a stubborn old broad, lol, got her mind set in staying put.

I need to shower, take something for this headache, and call her.

Modefined Sirius 200W TC Box Mod

I have both the blue and the grey, nice mod, good price.

Took me a little while to figure out the "swipe" on the Minikin 2 - now I feel like a dummy, because it is very easy.
Question for Minikin 2 owners. I went to update the firmware, the download on the Asmodus site is a (dot) firmware file.......WTH??????????

the zathog from morten oen.
30mm RDA.
the most difficult build i think i've ever done. coil legs need to be way longer than you think they need to be and the recessed screws are awful even with the right driver. apart from that? vast air flow. good flavour. put wee coils in it...3mm. fits on the cylon with room to spare

The ID10T's removed the updater from all there firmware files... It used to be in the V36 RAR.

Here is a package I made up for others to make it easy.

What I have done is package both the updater and the V40 firmware in a self extracting file for you. It's an EXE file but it is safe.
Minikin V2-V40 Upgrade.exe

Download the file and run it, it will create a folder where you ran it from called "Minikin V2-V40 Upgrade".

Inside that folder you will find two files: HW718V40(20171008).firmware & UpgradeV1.1.exe, just follow the Asmodus directions from there.

Other than that its a lazy Sunday for me :thumb:
That has always boggled my mind that you are a day ahead.

So if some major event happens in the world, we record it as happening on July 28 2018. Does your news report it as happening July 29 2018?

Yeah - it was really strange when 9-11 happened. The media here refer to it as 911, but of course over here the date was Sept 12th.

Plus side of it is - we got to see the first sunrise of 2000, but it sure is screwy for international events

Thanks, I was going to mention 9/11, as that would play with your head a little bit for sure.

The first sunrise of 2000 would have been awesome though!

Within a reasonable driving range, there aren’t really options for assisted living. We do have visiting home healthcare though, which might be helpful. Super expensive though. We’re considering chipping in for a day or two a week, to help with errands and chores, but that still leaves her vulnerable at night.

I live closest, but I’m on meds for my sleep disorder, so I can’t drive at night. Even if she could get a hold of me, which she can’t because I have to leave the phone off. I wish I could block all calls but hers, ya know, that would be helpful.

And yeah, feeling lucky to have her still. We’d do anything for her really, it’s just scary, and we never know what’s the best way to help.

I just got back from her place, and her wrist is puffy as would be expected. But she’s in good spirits. I’m doing her laundry, and my sis is going to pop in later.

Sorry can’t help. I never updated mine, works fine out of the box for me. If it ain’t broke...

ETA: the swipe is an issue for me. Slow, fast, medium, whichever finger... it just does not respond well. But I also have a problem with anything that has to sense motion or a human or whatever... bathroom sinks and hand dryers, auto open doors, the fingerprint unlock features on phones, you name it. Does not work for me. Not sure what planet I’m really from lol. I can’t wear watches at all. They die in days, go backwards, change modes, lights flash.

This looks like waaay better build quality than the Njørd RDA from Atom. I think Atom are megalomaniacs and have completely lost it, the dogs:censored: paint job, wrong coil and some reports of posts breaking off were a big part of what killed the Njørd for me.
Glad for Morton it seems to work out better with Cthulu.

I'm currently not on the market for dual coil attys though so I think I'll pass anyways ;)

That's Wachusett Reservoir south of downtown. Where your water comes from.
