I think you mean something NOT in the water, that plus poor access to healthcare services for a large number of its inhabitants.
I tried really hard to tell the kid that Tucson water was maybe worse than Flint but he wasn't buying.
He has arrived at my mom's house. She is desperately trying to get ready for Hajj and has some sort of breast like infection but I did not ask more, because I went OOG I have never had a blocked gland, for example and I want to know nothing about it.
My husband was like, "Maybe her God is protecting her or something."
I was like, "Maybe her God was WATCHING her during her Great Amends to my Children Amends tour, and wasn't impressed, and this was the result."
He called me, "A mean thinker."
I totally don't dispute it, but I also have the vague nebulous feeling that perhaps, I am correct, and I don't even feel bad for like IMMEDIATELY thinking it. Because fortunately I also believe that MY Creator is super nice and etc., and all forgiving and whatnot. I don't know so much about HER Creator, since she's a Sufi and blindly follows the tenants of an unmedicated Bipolar dude while thinking her OWN bipolar daughter is like, nuts. And I am a hell of a lot nicer than Muhammed by all reports, INCLUDING HIS own.
But, either way, I'm glad the kid is okay and travel over. I got a slightly teary "I am here" call, and well, hopefully all goes well for my Mommy and she gets to exhaust herself to great exhaustion, doing some artificial spiritual marathon.
I BELIEVE in Artificial Spiritual Marathons 100% I just think they are called "life" and I don't have to go out of my way to make things HARDER, man religion for the masochists or even the masses was just never my bag of teapot.
