Yeah i want to get into DIY my eliquids but the wife says i have enough vaping hobbies as it is lol

She didn't respond to the "but I will save money over the long run" argument? What kind of wife is THIS.

Unless.... You have already spent that Ace of Spades on something else, which would be unfortunate.

I would try the Joker Card: "Honey, I hate to inform you that all my prior vaping hobbies will have been for NAUGT because they're going to do bad stuff to eliquids, and if they do and I can't vape, well, all my hobbies will have been for naught and NOT ONLY that, I won't even be able to sell off my hobbies, because everyone will be in the same boat."

I've spent a lot of time playing poker, and a lot of time justifying my spending. LOL. If you need more rationales, you just let me know. LOL.

Yep, this. And/or my favorite, reverse psychology.

“Gosh honey, it’s so much cheaper to make juice than buy it, but that sounds like a lot of work”. Who doesn’t like to think it was their idea?

I once said, “I don’t need a new car. I still love my 10 year old Cougar.” Next thing I know, I’m rolling home in a new Mustang.

Two day Priority shipping free. Yay Vaperoyalty!
And replay actually works! Cool feature. Haven't even hooked it up to eScribe or hunted for themes and it's already perfectly functional right out of the wrapping.

Oh, and on the Intake Cylon questions, see the background. They pair together beautifully in gunmetal / tarnish finish. And the TC is quite good.

Off to play a while.

Oh on the Intake the wicking is dead simple. No flooding, spitting, or other gremlins right from the very first wicking. As @Letitia said keep the tails short and a little thin and it'll behave just fine. Absolutely no need for jfc with it.

On the Triade switched to my trusty Engine 2 with the stock 316 profile, 45W 430F preheat on at 10 with a dual 0.12 ohm fused Clapton build and smooth as can be. Plus I can see the curves from Device Monitor right on the mod. No hooking up to see how it's performing. They done got it right with this board.

Also my older Triade doors fit this just fine so now I have a full assortment to play with. Unfortunately the doors I have are trimmed with grey instead of black to perfectly match, but it's hard to see and I'm sure more doors are coming. The black and silver plays nice with both black and silver tanks so another one in the plus column.

Now I just want my Therion. I know, just kill me now.

You are bringing your case from the wrong angle. DIY isn't a hobby. Building your own atomizer coils isn't a hobby. Getting the right temp coefficient, build curve or Replay setting isn't a hobby. They are all part of vaping, which isn't a hobby, either. It's a smoking cessation/tobacco harm reduction program, you see. The fact that some of us make it look like a hobby is coincidental and therefore immaterial.

If that line of reasoning bears no fruit, end the conversation with "Well honey, at least it keeps this hot hunk of manhood off the streets."

Well IDK, the China tariffs deserve a "supportive mention." They could be sort of a "Better run and get your shiny when you can do it without extra taxation," or a "Halt, cease and desist."

But either way, when the necessary time for support arrives, I can gently guide you toward like, a good credit counseling bureau or like a bankruptcy lawyer.

I've just realized, I've been really really good with purchasing stuff, of late, and I'm pleased with this fact. The last thing I bought was like S$25 dollars and it was mainly because I recommended it to someone and like, I felt bad plus lets face it I have NO issues with having another Zenith or whatever, and even knowing Wealth is in my future, I don't have any current plans to buy a replay mod despite really, really wanting one. LOL. I didn't even replace my broken Ares. Nothing.

Past Shinyitis just seems to be tootling me along quite nicely, but I REALLY overpurchased, so there is always that. LOL.

Since were on the subject i want to pick up either the Smoant Cylon or the Innokin Proton. Any thoughts and suggestions? Im mainly looking for reliability. I also don't use TC just power mode.

I have the Proton (not the Cylon)
Proton is nice and small for a dual battery mod. It's my take to work "beater mod".
It is losing some paint in spots. The screen isn't scratched though.
It is extremely reliable and I find the battery life better than any of my other dual 18650 mods.
I will say that I am biased though, as I like Innokin products a lot.
