Home Depot, Lowe's have battery recycle bins usually at their doors.
Beat me to it . When Oh When will I learn to read to the end before I reply? I’m always afraid I won’t be able to find it to answer by the time I get caught up

I loved it personally.

Letitia interstellar has all the makings of an epic movie: intense world conflict, starvation (always good in a movie) the under and over class, desperate scientists and like, backstabbing and interstellar travel, and like, lots and lots of frantic equations, FIGHTING in space, abandoning bad guys on deserted planets, "sending humans on humanitarian missions" but it being a "lie" and people figure out that they're actually being sent on POPULATE this planet madness.

Then, it ends. In case you still want to watch it, I'm not going to spoil the ending but basically you find out that the answer to all of it consists of a romance novel made of Legos, which, OKAY IT HAS to end SOMEHOW, but going from "really kind of accurate looking in all forms" to "legos and the power of LOVE to create time and space travel."

It's a harsh shift. It's a harsh and unfortunate shift from THE AWSOME to THE SUCK and there is like NO WARNING either.

I kind of wish the protagonist had died instead that's how mad it made me that like, "I spent two hours on THIS." I think my little brother, who also hated the movie, like had to restrain me from throwing the rest of the pizza at his TV screen.

Ah, no offense @Skunk! LOL really and truly. I guess SOMEONE has to love that movie. I mean, my kid's two favorite movies growing up were like "Joe's apartment" (don't do it) and Stealth (DO NOT DO IT) and he has an ongoing and as yet unclaimed romance with Adam Sandler. I think Adam Sandler reminds him of his dad on the rare moments the dad was sober. LOL.

I can't explain it but for the love of god stay away from Stealth and Joe's Apartment both of which I have seen more than once, I mean, when my kiddo was having a hard time, he'd find it soothing to watch said movies accompanied by his mama, who then immediately began having a hard time. LOL.

Princess # 2 loved “Lake Placid” and “Ice Spiders”, which we probably watched a thousand times . Which brought me to buy my one and only mech with the spider and name etched on it. It’s boxed in the vape closet for emergencies. If nothing else, when I’m dead and gone, it’ll make her smile when she cleans out the mountain of mods, tanks and diy. Sort of my wink from beyond the grave

AND it has Anne Hathaway. Big plus for me. And she's got a great hairstyle.

Sorry, just ignore me. I'll shift back into vape mode in a bit.

    Morning shinies :)

Had one of my plates & some screws removed from the ankle yesterday. 12 hours in hospital!

B4 the surgery I went to the toilet a lot  and vaped in there. After surgery I just vaped in bed when no one was around.

It was so much easier not being a smoker anymore - no 'I need a smoke and I need it now!!!!' moments.

I can walk on my ankle - no crutches - it's just frickin sore ;)

Every Dr and nurse that asked if I smoked were impressed that I was able to quit via vaping

    Here's the metalwork:

That’s some stuff to place in a bottle on the shelf and bring it up in conversation now and again.

On "Interstellar" - it got such great revues, but I did not enjoy it at all.
Although it was a better "space" movie than "Independence Day" which IMO was one of the worst movies ever made in any genre, that actually made money.
It was the most "cliched" movie that I have ever seen....absolutely hated that movie.

I thought the Alien franchise were pretty good, the first was my favorite, due to the not knowing a lot about the alien itself through the course of the film. Made it more suspenseful IMO.

Yeah it could have 17 Vin Diesels in it, and the movie wouldn't have been saved one bit.

I suppose that isn't fair. I've never seen 17 Vin Diesels collected in one place yet. It might have helped. LOL.

As to shiny, I have a FT win sitting here and I also found out that like, my start date is TWO months away, not ONE.

So, I feel for you lot, but I'm going to open the package and gaze at the mystery RTA and maybe even build it.

My Ares is totally toast, I think. I was able to put it back together but like, the bit with the other screw and the airholes on it has totally been lifted from the deck. I can't tell if the little screw piece had a BIT of screw that went flying when it all fell apart and tumbled on the floor, or whether I should super glue it back on but that seems somehow unlikely and incorrect and surely there must be some METAL piece that is supposed to like, cause it to be able to read the resistance or something?

IDK, no clue, but to add injury to insult, I somehow hurt my middle finger playing with it and trying to like, attach a SS Clapton 0.9 resistance coil to it. At various points it was reading 0.000 on my mod reader, then briefly for a bit, like 0.1 and then 0.4 I abandoned it as a bad job.

Sounds like it’s toast. That’s too bad.

Well it briefly made me feel competent all fiddling with it and assembling it. LOL. Then I hurt my finger.

No worries, I have another one and I like my Black 24 MM Siren better anyway. Heh. It is sitting on my cylon and it looks AWESOME.

There is something definitely wrong with the gunmetal ones. I seriously should make that poll, but that would involve.... creating a poll and I don't know how.

SO weird with the gunmetal ones, but I can only say like, if you plan on a Siren don't go for gunmetal. Plenty of folks just seem to hate it and I would love to know what percentage of them are gunmetal owners.

This kind of makes me scared of metal used in atomizers generally. Etc.

The only show I could get into of about that age was MASH, kinda. I like it now for its incredible sexism among other things.

I've watched the occasional "Mr. Ed" but usually by accident I run across it and become transfixed by its oddness.

I did see one Western where like, the main character SPANKED his wife?????? It sort of seemed to me that she perhaps deserved it a bit although OMG I am not advocating spanking adults in this day and age unless it's a consensual thing and then like, I don't want to hear about it necessarily

OR WATCH IT ON THE MOVIE SCREEN I'M TALKING TO YOU MR. GREY and also your creator.

I'd unabashedly spank HER with whatever implement came to hand but I would have to ask if that was something she enjoyed first. If so well that's what guns are for etc.
