Sil tells me hers was great in the snow. It was 4wd. I think they make them that you can switch between 2 and 4, which is easier on the gas mileage.

Older vehicles do start costing more than new, because they have fewer safety features- new tech comes out all the time- plus, wear and tear can make them more likely to fail. And it costs the same to fix them, regardless of age - until they get really old, when it can be tougher to find parts.

It’s a good idea to call your insurance and ask before buying any vehicle. When I got my Mustang, hubby was shocked at how low insurance was gonna be on it. But I was almost 40, female, perfect driving record. So it was $5 more than it would have been for a 6 cylinder sedan lol.

Here’s a fun fact about insurance... when he died, I called to get him dropped and put the policy in my name. They wanted to raise my rates 30%. Think about that. One person, driving less than a quarter of our total, 30% more.
Here driving records now are based on your licence points. Every time you get a ticket you get knocked a point out. That's why women get less tickets, less insurance.
BTW happy bday! You're my junior, turned 55 last march! Don't consider yourself old, you're at your prime!

Happy Birthday! Mine was the 1st, and a coworkers was the 2nd. Seems to be a lot of birthdays lately.
My father in law, husband and SIL all celebrated birthdays over the holiday too. Count back nine months... New Years Eve ;)

Thank you for the videos, very helpful. A local shop has them for $20. I’m going to go grab a couple. I haven’t seen 1.2 coils anywhere online , but I can find the .5s.
1.2 still available on the My Uwell site Mel. .5 coils are pretty good even with af restricted and watts lower. I remember my sweet spot was lower than recommended.

I've used all four coil offerings for the original Crown, with the 0.5 ohm being my favorite. My "sweet spot" has been at 30 watts for a couple of years now, so the 0.5 ohm coil fits best for that situation.

I've stopped recommending the 1.2 ohm coils simply because they have been difficult to find lately. I've heard rumors that Uwell may be discontinuing them, but I've seen nothing to confirm the rumors...only that they seem to be out of stock everywhere lately. It could simply be that the original Crown is advertised as a subohm tank, and therefore the vast majority of owners do not buy/use the 1.2 ohm coil. I do hope Uwell continues to make/sell the 1.2 ohm coils because they work very well. I have one in the Crown I'm currently vaping now at around 22 watts

Speaking of the crown..has anyone used the rba coil for it? I'm thinking of getting one so I can use my crown as a back up but I heard people saying it was no good.
I bought a couple of RDA bases for the Crown when someone had them on sale for like $1.50 each. Shipping costs was more than the product. I've not built any coil for about a year, not even for my RDA's. But I do have the RDA base for the Crown just in case there is a vape apocalypse.

My Cylon is supposed to land today. But I spent most of yesterday evening and this morning at Ft. Morgan battening down the house for Gordon. I may end up building on the Bravo and dialing in a nice TC vape by candlelight tonight.

These nuisance storms are a minor PITA but I'm thankful it's not another monster. This part of the Gulf Coast is a few years overdue for one.

Our insurance is based on points, too. Only AZ gives you 3 points for "every" moving violation. I find it unfair that I can get as many points for going five miles over the speed limit when like, you can get the same number of points by rear ending someone at 20 miles over the speed limit.

I am a very manly woman when it comes to tickets, lemme tell you. My "points" usually hover somewhere around "just before we take away your license," or at least they used to. I have been paying extra close attention though lately, I'm not even going to SAY how soon I will have zero tickets (in order to not jinx myself) but I will say its harder/easier without cruise control. I wish I had cruise control now because well, there are tons of cops that squat around during my new commute, and I'll be driving back some in the dark and well, my night vision really sucks and it's hard to see the cops. But I pay more attention overall (probably also a REALLY good reason to like, not speed also). Because, my commute is not going to be the type of thing I can "uber" let me put it this way.

Dang I've been recommending a Crown 3 for so long I almost want one. Even though I don't.

I just.... I've been fighting labor day sales for what seems like AN ETERNITY. LOL. Only the knowledge that I need to eat and whatever, well, that's what is keeping me from several tempting things. I'm glad I woke up late today.

@Tralfaz, LOL as *a* therapist but not yours (and I hate to undermine her judgement) I'm going to say get one, also keeping in mind that I just want y'all to buy stuff that I can look at. LOL you should probably check... if you have time sometimes shinyitis waits for no human, etc.

I'm an engineer and with my dad many times we did survey crashes. I've seen some idiotic ones and some other that left me saying "what were they thinking?" People are careless on the road, nothing will happen. Sorry. Stick to the rules, they're there for a reason. I wish you had seen what I've seen. Idiots. Sorry.

The RDA was my deciding factor when I was choosing between the newly released Crown vs the Aspire Atlantis. I have 3 Crown RDAs and never tried building them. But I got/kept them for the same reason as you.

I sold off my Horizon Arctic tanks when I tried my first Crown tank.
I used the SS .5Ω Crown coils and had hoarded over 125 of them AOT.
I still have 2 Crown tanks and about 25 coils plus those 3 RDAs in the go-box.

So I caved. I bought a Luxotic/Tobhino kit from Eightvape for $35. I haven't had vapemail for a long time...
Nice, I have the KRMA on mine.
