You get used to it :)

1.5 hours each way, five days a week, so 3 hours total. Up to an hour, I can usually hack, but it's just really.... far. Etc. I mean, by the time I'm done like, adding in lunch we are talking 12 hour days. I might have to start BROWSING on dinner as I drive home or whatever, but it's far enough to be a bit much.

I'm quite sure I drove 3 hours on certain occasions IN Tucson as an in home therapist, although in all fairness, that counted in my workday. Also, in all fairness, I wound up working 70 hour weeks because they were chronically understaffed and I hate doing a bad job. Etc.

So, hopefully it will be okay. I mean there are places I could "live" up there that probably wouldn't be all that much more than the cost of gas, although I'm not sure I'd want to "live" there by myself. Kinda thing.

I will base my decision (most likely) on whether I can just be left alone in a dimly lit room 3 days out of the week. I mean, there's an empty conference room and all but certain teams aren't like understanding of that and want you to have a jolly lunch with them (which is nice ON OCCASION) rather than do yoga and choke down a powerbar. OR, just get up at 3:30 or SOME godawful thing, whatever it is I wind up having to do.

It's more I'm not a night person anymore, the drive up will be fine. If I wind up staying til 6 on Friday night (which based on all appearances that will be requested....) the drive home is gonna SUCK

Oh well.

What kind of problem? Website not working? or Tracking info Wrong? I run a small ebiz so I deal with the USPS all the time.
Service unavailable AK1213. Won't accept a tracking number either. Order from ft.

I used to have an Airedale Terrier and grooming kept me from having another. I finally bought a french bulldog and I'm so in love with him!
Absolutely agree. We had standard poodle. The monthly grooming was tiresome. Though, by the time she hit 15, I could clip her in my sleep. Our labs shed like crazy, but it’s better than a couple hours with clippers

China mail tracking either I get or I’m told it doesn’t exist
1st time I've gotten this message. Hopefully it will show up when it gets to the states or at least when it reaches the Chicago hub. Wonder if it's due to trump bs.

I was tracking a package this week, didn’t have a problem. Package that came last week showed not picked up in china, never showed in Usps, yet Usps delivered it. It’s a crap shoot.

Well hopefully I'll have a pleasant surprise in the mailbox next week.

I get up at 4 am, and even the day I'm off (usually Sunday) I get up at 4 am. I tell myself "Gonna sleep in" but it never happens. You get used to it.
If the job is a good job, then it's worth all the hassles.

Went to Vegas a while back for work training, and one of the people also in the training said she would NEVER commute for work (she seemed rather "uppity"). When we (went with a coworker) told her what our hourly wage was, she said "I'd commute" :)

Couple hours with clippers once a month vs daily shedding...I'd have to go with the clippers.

Five minutes with the broom vs two hours with clippers? I’ll take the broom

I dislike sweeping and brushing furniture. I'm not lazy about the occasional stuff but dead lazy with daily stuff.

Worth it

Although if I had this guy running around my house, I'd probably be too busy laughing to get anything productive done.

Hmmm USPS Tracking is working for me although I see they are down in many parts of the country. The must be having server issues somewhere.
Thanks, we were having tower issues a few days ago. Internet has been a bit wonky for those like me that don't have wifi.

Airedales can go sheeplike. They don't shed but tangle a lot. So grooming every three months becomes mandatory, even if you brush them frequently. The most affectionate dog ever, great sailing pal! Used to chase whatever he saw swimming in the river (they're workdogs, otter chasers)
