If I could find all the parts in one place, and know what to buy I'd build my own.

Problem is I go looking and don't know what to get, then get frustrated. I just want to build a good mech squonk.

I know right! Its the curse of DIY but I kinda had fun searching for parts and pieces getting some 3-D printer parts made.
and if you could find all of the parts in one place it would be a kit and thats not as much fun as doing the whole process from design to build your self.

Yeah, I don't have that patience. Would love to just buy a good box, stabwood or something nice and get to work.

You could just get some copper flashing and some tin snips and make your own. I've seen silver sheet on Amazon time to time too.
