That speaker reminds me of the house I used to go to with a blind mom, seventeen "cats" (they were inbred) food spoiling every place, and dogs making a "nest" in the sofa. I seriously considered Vick's vapo rub every time I went there, but I felt like it would be too "rude" because the kids could see. I tried to convince my supervisor to let me call the Health Department, but she wouldn't.
I feel for you, JFC, encountering such horrors at work.... Get your least favored underling to deal with it would be my advice (like, uh, with gloves and a mask....)

Foster leaves much to be desired here. If they were fed and loved they are better off where they are.

Why put catfood in a speaker box? Was that the only place kitty would eat? And if you're returning it, and it's the only place the cat would eat, why not empty it just in case kitty finds a new happy place?
My cat doesn't like vaping. Not since I spilled juice on him and had the temerity to bathe him before he groomed himself.
On a reservation, things are different. Believe me I would've called CPS on day one, coming from the east coast, but I am actually the reason that our whole department was "trained" in how to report to on-reservation CPS with what I *thought* was a perfectly valid report.
The irony of that was I was absent that day of training, with another scheduled training. I still think I was right, but since that time, I ran all CPS reports past my boss (like I did anyway, this particular supervisor was absent when I made the report and her covering person thought it was fine, but I guess it wasn't or whatever.)
They were older kids, to be fair I guess. But yeah, I have tolerated what I thought were intolerable things.... It's an adaptation if you will....
To also be fair, after dealing with state CPS here, I never wanted to report ANYONE to ANYTHING. They don't do so well and have some rather tragic laws in place, and AZ was one of the states indicted for deliberately selling "babies" to "foster parents" for cash and etc.
This whole post makes me realize I really *DO* want a job at Walmart, therapy is freaking stressful as hell....

You and me both! I was a loner in HS. I'd sit alone at a table eating lunch and talking to myself and day dreaming wonderful dreams and plotting against my enemies. I never thought anyone noticed me but imagine my surprise when I was voted in the yearbook most likely to shoot the president! They never said of which country but just to be recognised as someone who might play an important part of history, well, that really touched me! What an honor!
My son-in-law works for the government and does 90% of his work from home. I need to ask him how shutdowns affect him?

I started a thread asking for help deciding on an atty. I just got it, but I haven't washed it out yet to try it. I thought my slow boat sank, so I didn't anticipate the delivery when it showed up. I was hoping to start off with rayon, but I haven't purchased that yet either.
I know, I know...excuses excuses...
I'm hoping to get it sorted out in the next couple of days and get it going. I'm excited to try the Crius, hoping for good things!

I did not buy anything today. I killed off some adjectives, removed many unnecessary words, and my head is Just Spinning. I want to go crawl in bed, but I'm not exactly certain that's warranted but I only want to see Other People's shiny things. I think I may have vanquished the Fusion's 0.8 coil at last (it is a cute little kit!) and the key is not overpriming (which they totally instruct you to do) as well as not filling all the way (at least the first time) which you are also told to do. That, plus replacing the drip tip. I'm pretty pleased with myself and my patience, actually.
I can't wait for my first Vaperesso mod, which was also a win. But I don't think my mailman is coming today, although I might venture from the couch to wander out there, soonish...
