That is why I stated if you're using it with builds that draw 20 amps or less.
If your builds draw less than 20 amps which is 5 to 10 amps under the 40T's max then why wouldn't you want longer run times?

In regulated 40T all day.

My favorite coils currently are an Ni80 tri-core fused clapton that usually comes out to around .10-.13 ohms in a dual setup, so yes, I like the higher amp rating. A 40T isn't going to last that much longer than a 30T and even if I wasn't building low, I would appreciate the freedom to do so safely if I wanted to. 40Ts would be better in a dual battery regulated mod since the longevity would be noticably better. In a single battery mech, the added safety beats an extra 15-20 hits. Don't just take it from me, ask anyone.

What if your build doesn't work like you think (eg little piece of metal in the juice well)? Will it draw 5-10A then?
:p

That would have shown when I tested build before vaping it or immediately on first vape if it happened after. If I continue to vape then Darwin wins.

And if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle........:pervy:

This is a fantastic performing cell that easily beats the Sanyo NCR20700A at both high and low discharge current levels. At moderate power levels this Samsung 40T even beats the incredible Samsung 30T, hitting harder for almost the entire discharge down to 3.2V and for a lot longer too.

At high power levels though the lower internal resistance of the Samsung 30T allows it to hit harder than the Samsung 40T for most of the discharge down to 3.2V (about 3.6V resting voltage). The 40T still runs for longer though.
- Taken from Mooch's 40T test.

That's rather optimistic, a small piece of wire can move around easily and may not show while testing or on the very first draw.
Of course that's splitting hairs but Tralfaz stated he mainly has the high CDR for safety reasons and that's one ;)

stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
Yep. I’ve already got my arrangements made with family. Cardboard box, cremation another cheap box then the Audubon Arboretum here in Boston.

I buried the cremations of all my dogs/cats in my flower gardens & planted trees or shrubs.

Good enough for them then good enough for me.
i figure the doc's can take any parts they want,,, then the students can learn on my body but the body must be cremated and returned to my family when they are done (all at no charge to my family) ,,, then my family just needs to set the ashes free in a lake or ocean,, or high altitude,, whatever.

the problem is ,,,I have always believed we live until about 80,, but something in me tells me i may live to 102/103,,,, so,, that means my granddaughter or great grandchild will have to dispose of me....... good grief (will the doc's even want any parts lol)! :)

Not for low builds. Use what you like. I'm not trying to convince you otherwise.

Me either. That's why I just posted part of the test that I thought showed both sides of the coin and left it at that. :D

How low is low though? A resistance of .19 ohms is still only 19 1/2 amps..........

you can go to yahoo news/aol, msn, google news and just scroll the headlines to see all the people you wouldn't pay to read,,,,,I have noticed beyond 'fake news' there is still too many fake/shock & awe' misleading headlines. I often wonder 'who pays for news or who paid that writer? its like their target reader is stupid or something,,,,sadly that may be the case,,,,,,,,but still who pays them?

I didn't disagree.
I also ended my original post with IMHO, but there are justifications for both sides.

I just thought that leaving it at 'one for regulated and one for mechs' was a little overly general.

He thinks it’s hilarious. I just have to fatten him up a bit more to get a 2 carat

Man made diamond that isn't a cubic zirconium.

I freely admit I'm not good with the whole funeral burial thing. I'd be totes fine buried out back next to my kid's first dog. She was an excellent dog, and frankly, I knnow there are Ordinances against it (maybe for those of you on well water :lol::lol:) but I think it would be great. No funeral, no epitaph, mourn at your own risk.... and expense.

Gosh DANG is the husband high maintenance when he is ill. I just carefully like, made him chamomile tea (sans tea bag) as he LIKES. Then he was like, "where's the tea bags" and I was like, "You don't like them!" and he was like, "it's been seconds!" I brought another tea bag....

The monthly food poisinnig SUCKS.

BTW. You can't claim 'safety' as a reason if your using an atty with a resistance of .10 - .13 and using a single 35 amp battery.
.10 is 37 amps @ 3.7 volts, .13 is better at 28 1/2 amps @ 3.7 volts.
Anyone trying to use a 40T in those situations is nuts (hence my under 20amp comment).
And I was pointing out that in Mooch's tests he stated twice that the 40T "lasted a lot longer" than the 30T in both high and low power use.
