the steam crave titan mod has at least landed on these, fair, islands and is currently staggering in my general direction. haven't been looking forward to a bit of kit so much in a good while. some might say that there's little to look forward to... it's , big, heavy, simple and leaves a smidgen to be desired visually. it's me...

I only like TOS and for different reasons than those who like TNG, etc. have for watching the show. It's all about James T, the legendary camp and cheese that go with him and the dynamics of the original cast. I could never get into TNG or the idea of taking any of it too seriously. I've seen all 72 of the original episodes many times over though, so I suppose you could call me a Trekkie. I don't care to be called a Trekker, either. That falls in with taking it too seriously, AFAIC.

A local station used to do back to back reruns of TOS from 5-7pm weeknights back in the 80s. Some friends and I would meet up for happy hour at a run down strip mall Chucky Cheese type joint. We would sit in the bar and drink on "Bones", "He's dead", "Fascinating", and any other tag lines or gestures like Spock's eyebrow or Jim's smirk. I really fell in love with the show that way.

The new one is interesting. I prefer The Orville, though.

Sci-Fi with halloween masks. Um, cool.

Something more substantial that doesn't take itself too seriously? Here ya go.

I thought Deep Space Nine was one of the better shows, honestly because it wasn't quite so "human" centric, like in all the other ones the aliens were either evil or character development fodder, but like all the aliens WITH the humans were like struggling to be more "human like" etc whereas in Deep Space Nine you had, like more of a jumble of stuff going on.

Yes, I am talking about THAT Vulcan @Coastal Cowboy , she was the hottest if asking me, but I like a little "edge" with my (WHATEVER THE correct measurements are these days.)

Just like mods, one day pods are hot, another day having a GIANT box or whatever.

I have to admit, I will even reluctantly admit the actress in Quantico is super hot, I mean they try to make it the blonde occasionally, but she just looks like a hatchet to me, although in my humble opinion like, once attire of oddly fetishistic Italian couture entered the scene (along with single episodes) her hotness dropped significantly and like, dood, it is NOT necessary for EVERY character to remark on her remarkable hotness, we GET IT OKAY?? Also the Ryan character, I don't know who chose him for romantic lead EVER he looks like the type of guy who'd be manning my local tackle and bait and self-administer vaccines to my PET kind of hot, like, only LESS SO and dumber AND with that full BEARD moment I could no longer take him seriously. Hatchet face can HAVE him although, also kudos on NOT getting a nose job, blondie.

I have to admit, season 3 of that show removed ANY ability I had to take it seriously, I mean I am actively rooting for the Irish Mafia guy, because AT LEAST he is showing "major success" at picking them OFF AND there is some ongoing plot, l mean bullet train episode I almost stopped breathing permanently due to boredom SERIOUSLY, so I am all caught up thank God at least for now, and back to American Vandal. Unless that was the END of Quantico? Abruptly? Her deciding to take the kid back to the US and that's it? If that is the case, I officially deem it like one of the Worst Shows of All Time, because the first few shows were interesting at least. I better google. I'd be this weird combo of annoyed, but relieved.

No one's hot on American vandal they're all kids and normal looking (presumably) so it's much more restful. Sorry but we are talking TV.

You know, it's odd, we have Synthahol, it's a shame Gene Roddenberry did not glom on to either vaping or homosexuality (I know he thought it was an "ill" but TO ME Will Riker's pathological NEED to protect his captain came PERILOUSLY close I MEAN if there's any man with the skill to turn a straight dude gay, it would have to be Jean Luc Picard....) Okay I will stop but yeah, vaping they could SO HAVE IT on there but it looks like Star Trek may be done, too, with another tragic ending etc.

OMG I just checked that was the END. I'm really glad I did not know, it cushioned the blow a bit.

My husband is going to be SO HAPPY. LOL to be fair, it deserved to end on unlucky 13. I'm trying to think of a show that changed to that extent and was still successful and I'm Having a Hard Time. LOL. I think my husband actually lost weight during that show as we were watching it with dinner.

Yeah. I read Bill the Galactic Hero when I was a kid. And a bunch of his other books. Don't remember that one though.

Hey, I'm old enough and remember dropping off my letter of protest at NBC for canceling the original ST at their Rockefeller Center headquarters. Yes, I was young ( maybe 5th grade?) but I was a fan.

Whelp, I discovered what mtl is again. The Zenith is tight, even with the 0.5 ohm coil. Not quite like a straw. A straw I could breathe through of I were underwater. This, not so much. The flavor was pretty decent though.

Got some 24 mg salt for the EQ. One draw, with essentially no cloud, banged my throat and gave me a headache. Cut it with some similar flavor but only a 3 mg, so down to maybe 8 mg. TH is more tolerable but still a tough draw.

I need to find these mtl setups happy, caring homes. The purple/pink one might have a spot. The EQ I'll just offer around and see if anyone wants a try. I have about four people in the last few weeks talk to me about switching, so they might as well help out another smoker.

No shinies today, just a new litre of 100mg which I've rebottled into glass, labelled, ziplocked, and stored behind the existing stash in the freezer --- minus 10ml for testing, from which I'm dripping some 10mg unflavored right now:

Hey! What do you mean "even Deep Space Nine"? ... you must have made a typo and meant "ESPECIALLY Deep Space Nine".

Of course, Firefly has to be the patron show of the Shiny thread.
Never could get into Firefly, loved deep Space Nine however. Dax fascinated me, was particularly fond of Odo for some reason.
