The Bertha I have since your math skills are quite acute. Runs a 16.8 volt 8000mah battery. You want to talk about warm
And yea, I’m pretty crazy. But I like what I like, to each their very own. This vaping journey has been a wonderful journey and have enjoyed every curve, turn, and straightaway.. I can only hope others find what they truly like as I have.. trust me when I say. In less than 1 year. I’ve spent a size able sum on stuff. But all for good..I’ve helped many people that’s came a long searching for ways to stop the smelly sticks. And will continue to do so. My way may not be for everyone, but it suits me just fine..

I need to pick one of these up when I’m in the states. The scarab seems the most versatile. Any other significant differences between the other high power lipo mods?

There have been many others hit the market. The biggest difference with the Scarab that I see, is that you have 1 person building and engraving each and every mod produced. The pride he takes in his work is unprecedented. I’ve looked at many others out there, but they fail to measure up in fit, finish, and quality parts. He doesn’t build to save a dime. He builds like he is making them for his mother.
And get this.. I don’t rep for him, I get nothing for someone I refer to but one. Wouldn’t take anything anyway. I just have a lot respect for someone in this day and age that doesn’t cut corners for profit.

It is on it's last legs now, and it has been on the go for about 7.5 hours with an hours break. Not sure if its just me, but I'm convinced the flavour changes once it drops to down the last couple of bars.

What single SS coil design would you recommend for battery life + flavour?

It really depends on the chamber of the atty.

I like thinner SS single core claptons occasionally, but I usually will run simple round wire SS316l 26g builds. I can run them at lower wattages, getting longer battery life as a result, and good flavor.

I went through a lot of crazy exotic high wattage builds and came back to simple round wire and thin clapton wire builds.
Going through a lot more liquid and poor battery life for only a marginal increase in flavor, just didn't do it for me.
I guess I just came full circle and settled in.

Tailoring a build for the atty being used is more important than the build alone.
Therefore I choose attys that fit my preferred builds, battery life desired, etc.

2016 Watts! I figured it with the same .14 coil. That could get a little warm. There is something for everybody:thumb:. I.constantly change what I like. Sometimes 35 watts and sometimes 150. I have never really found a happy place. I guess that suits me. Variety is the spice of life or so they say. Have fun!

Here it is on my only silver mod:

This is what I think it looked best on (still not great):

First impressions on this RDA are mixed :|

Anyways, back to Assassin's Creed.

Yeah it looks better on the dotmod.

I ended up putting the rainbow Recurve on the SL class for awhile. But took it off again. I’m using a nudge 22 or Enthion instead. Better flavor imo.

I too have no desire to run a 0.14Ω build on 2S let alone 3S, not really into the 1/2 second pulls.

Just like any other board PWM mods still have a recommended amp limit. There is a maximum current rating on the mosfet and also your cells. Big Al puts a 180A mosfet on his board but recommends the maximum current draw to be 60A and it's not hard set in firmware like it is on regulated mods. With more current comes more heat and none of these PWM boards have heatsinks or fans in them to keep the mosfet cool. I have seen boards where the mosfet has slid out of place as the heat from it melted the solder.

With my .6 ohm 12 to 14 watt builds I'd have battery life measured in months.

They look like glass. The SL Will fire down to .05 but 100w isn't enough power to make them types of builds shine.
have a few that do 0.05 in TC but these are ni80 beasts.
isn't that about like sucking on a forest fire?
nope. 2.1V gives a pleasant warmth.
I fired a 0.03Ω on the Wrecker G2 once working my way towards the 0.007Ω minimum resistance spec. Never did get it to fire a 0.01Ω, I guess that minimum spec was either on paper or in the lab with "special" firmware. ;)
0.01....
