I love the look of this Squid Industries Double Barrel mod more than anything else I've seen, but I vape MTL at like 12 watts, so it seems kind of silly to get a 150w dual-battery mod when it's more power than I'll probably ever need.

But my god, is it awesome looking.

Not silly. A lot of people use high wattage dual battery mods at 10-20w. From what I hear it is a great mod and practically indestructable. I have held one snd I really really want one. Love the size and weight. It's small and solid and very comfortable in the hand.

Hmm, it just seemed a bit odd to me, but I guess it would mean great battery life too.

Only thing that I dislike about the mod itself is the lack of temp control, but that's not really a big deal.
For the aesthetics alone, I must have it.

I keep looking at them. One of these days I will get it. I just spent my vape budget on an SL Class so I will have to wait. I forget if it's 22 or 24mm. I also like the tac 21. It takes 21700 batteries. @NolaMel has a couple DBs and loves them. She can tell you more about them

Why? You're not constantly driving your car at max speed either but probably never saying "it can go 200km/h but I mostly go 50km/h, I only need a car with 50km/h max speed". Because good luck finding that ;)
If it can do what you need it to do I don't see any problem. And yes, you will have better battery life (and can even select higher capacity batteries if you never ever go into higher power with them).

I got the RTAs for $28 at element $7 priority shipping. The SQ can be found really cheap now if you catch the right special. If I see any great deals I will let you know.
Silver and Gold SQ is on sale at Vape Wild for $19.99. Black is not on sale. They also have OG DR for $19.99, not sure about which colors. I picked up a spare of each at that price.

Also have the Berserker RDA for $22.99 and the Recurve (Gold only) for $16.99.

Some good prices at Vape Wild on a few hardware items if you don't mind sale prices only being on select finishes. Not sure when the sale is over, I ordered/received mine last week. Also got another Bonza for $19.99 at the time.

Figured these were good vape closet buys, items I can always use.

I don't mind the lack of TC. Sometimes I use it and sometimes not. The main complaint I have heard about it is the battery door, which could be a matter of preference.

Good deals! Let me know how you like VapeWild. They always have some good prices but I wasn't quite sure about them. Hope you like the SQ. Like I said I actually like it better than the big bunny.

I've bought a LOT of hardware from Vape Wild over the past year. They ship quickly, never had any issues with them. They don't have a huge selection of hardware, but if you check regularly/subscribe to the emails, they have some really good sales. Free shipping over $30 too, so doesn't break the bank to order from them.

Yeah, the SQ is a backup for me. Can't seem to stop buying items for the vape closet, lol. I prefer it over the OG DR as well. Not my favorite single coil squonk topper, but it's a solid performer for me and was worth getting another one at the sale prices.

My favorite single coil Squonk atty is still the GR1. I also am quite happy with the Tobhino. I wish it had clamps though. Haven't used the SQ for a bit. I like it for big builds. I put a lot of my mods away for backups. Pulse BFs were on clearance for $14.99 so I ended up getting 4. I modified one to fit 21700, so I have the dual coil DR on that one with a 30T and it rocks. I want to convert the rest of them now.

There is actually quite a few tootlers the use the DB, there is a squid thread. Battery life is fantastic at those watts.
