Not sure that I've ever heard my name and 'grace' in the same sentence before......
I need a new dual battery, small as possible, durable mod with a solid chip. I don’t want a squonk or vaporesso. Something that will last. I 99% of the time charge externally, but an accessible usb port is a bonus. I had settled on a minikin 2, but I don’t want to fix their oopsies at that price point. Under $200.

It may be sort of slumming compared to a Minnikin, but how about an Eleaf Invoke? Smallest two battery mod ever, almost, and lightest, and I can't say much about the chip other than "it works," and I have dropped it like INFINITY times.
Best value for money ever in my opinion (well, I won it, although I think my winnin days are over, no time, too busy earning, LOL) but seriously it's cheap.
I think you can load arctic fox on it if you are so inclined (I was not so inclined) but I don't use it for TC.
It is no Minikin, but well, neither does it cost like one.

The EOS II has a ledge over the fire button and the seams lend themselves to preventing juice and such getting in.
