@Skunk! – I understand your SL Class stood up to the abuse from a skatepark. But can it pull off a Fontside Manual?

Warning: The stunts within the below picture are performed by professionals, do not attempt this on your own.

Interesting. I did not know that – but why would I being on this side of your border. Part of my profession involves vulnerability management which also includes cyber security (at an enterprise level). Identity theft is a huge concern which is usually performed through social engineering. If providing identification is a requirement, please be diligent and ensure you are on a secure connection. Thx for the post.

@Fiestylillady @Heartsdelight - my earlier post was made in sincerity and not to put a scare into you. As mentioned, I did not know this was a requirement. Just looking out for fellow shiners
I use a tablet sup I can't quote. But you didn't scare me. I was already not ever giving them that kind of information, ever! But they have great prices. That I will say but not that good.

Okay thanks..

I have all my rta's, which is fine (and work fine) just hoping to get out of rewicking atm..

Lazy lazy.. hahaha

I'll see if I can't find a drop in atty that has jfc..
I like the Tobeco Supertank and always have one in rotation that will occasionally get knocked to the side and sit for days and I am still able to go back to it and it works fine. I like the full size one, not the mini and the coils are usually reasonable. Like $12 for 5 of them.
this is where I got my last three just the other day
Tobeco Super Tank 25MM Sub-Ohm Tank
they also have the coils.

I chose the ss. It’s only the last 4 digits so pretty safe.
How is that safe? They would have your name, address, and last for of your social. That's madness for a vape purchase. The next thing you know a pint of blood will be the next request to verify identity. Lol.

The 100 watt Aegis also has an angled bottom edge similar to the Legend…perhaps it could also perform tricks providing the right atty is on top. With larger atty’s the Legend will just fall over….I’ve tried many (what we do for amusement!)

Picture that RDA in every other color made. The rest I think is wire, nic etc, and the DRSQ (which isn’t right by me). Yes, the ultimate lazy... you only get a picture of what’s in my hand . (Purples match better irl)
For $35, this was a deal. Came with the RDA and a battery ( I haven’t looked it up yet on Mooch). It’s a bit of a fingerprint magnet, and the up/down buttons take some specific pressure, but works fine
That's a perfect little setup!

Think I'm gonna have to try that out. I am also easily amused.

I responded without knowing the requirements. But agree, there has to be a better way of obtaining age verification. The governing body (guess that would be the FDA) should understand the risks involved in sharing this type of personal information. If verification is performed across a secure intralink it should be safe, but we are putting trust into the security practices of a vape shop. Equifax was not hacked by some genius hacker – they were compromised by a known vulnerability that they did not address in a timely manor. In other words, they left the door wide open! They were informed by their tech partners of the vulnerability in March of 2017. Come May they were compromised, and by July 150+ million customer accounts were stolen. Goes to show the impact of lax security practices.

That'd my exact concern. To much information in one place for what I consider an everyday purchase. I can't think of an easier way but one must exist. I'm still looking for this Pico squeeze 2, but can't give that toe type of information.

@Eskie – I’ll pose the question to you considering you responded to my earlier post. But anyone is welcome to answer. How is age verification obtained? Do you email the store with the needed information or do you enter the needed information at checkout while you are also entering your CC information across an encrypted connection?

Thinking, cause this is what I do on a Friday evening (too damn cold to walk to the pub so you guys/gals are stuck with me). Your CC already has this information on file. Name, address even birth date. It would not take much to implement age verification through the CC company. The retailer does not need to know if you are 35 or 75 years old, just that you are of age to make this purchase. Correct? A simple Yes/No confirmation from the CC would be sufficient.

That would make too much sense. The places I have ordered from for a long time haven’t come back and asked for it. But a first time purchase recently they required a picture of my id. I put blue tape over all information/graphics except my name, address and picture. They accepted that

So you email your ID? You did well by covering the important information such as your licence number.

Bit of a sketchy way of verifying someone’s age. I could doctor up a drivers licence in no time with photoshop

God knows how it all fits together. A lot of vape vendors are smallish companies without much tech expertise. They need to do verification so they search the internet looking for providers. Probably don't have the time or energy to look too closely into how they do it or how it impacts their customers. Maybe they look primarily at what the monthly cost will be to them. Or maybe they get whatever their credit card processor or web site managers offer, or what their brother who works in a furniture store recommends. Some of these systems which ask for SSN or photos of drivers licenses likely take a bite out of their business, and if they get enough complaints they might look at it more closely and change tactics.

I just bail out of any purchase that involves me sending information, most of them seem to do it automatically from your credit card and public records. That way I figure they don't have access to any information that the average 12 year old cybercriminal couldn't get in 10 minutes anyway.
