As far as the Goon 24, I have one of the "unauthorized" Authentic's from 3F, those are the ones that 528 got a big lip on over... But then they also accused EightVape of selling clones after EV produced a $15K invoice from 528 for the stock.

Any time I can stick it to 528 I do.

I love the look of the Luna . Wish it was regulated

Out of everything I own, if I could only have 1 mod it would be the Luna. They're so perfect for my vaping style. And while they're not adjustable, they're not mechanical either. They have all the protections of a regulated mod.

That’s what I get for “assuming”. I think they deserve a second look

My Reload squonker is much the same. In fact, looking at the specs and functionality I wouldn’t be surprised if they used the same chip. Takes a little trial and error finding a resistance that works to your liking, but once found it’s a set and forget.

This took me a while but eventually I tried 28*3/36 NI80; 3mm ID; 3.5 wraps... then I was set. Finding that build is what opened me up to mechs too, and made me switch to squonking full time.

Exactly that. 3mm, 3.5 wraps. Perfection for me.

You get lower res by using thicker/more gauge and the battery gets overworked, way too hot.

You get higher res by using more wraps/thinner wire and the vape is too weak.

You use thicker wire with more wraps to get the same resistance and there's too much mass, won't warm up.

I actually prefer 4 wraps but you'll more commonly find single coil RDAs with a .5 wrap leg situation. Something like the B2K or Recurve I would use 4 wraps.
