Silicone is very safe and quite neutral. but the odor!

I am 100% positive medical or food grade silicone is safe. It has been used for decades and if it wasn’t safe, I’m sure we’ve would have heard about it by now. But is the silicone from vape manufactures medical or food grade? That I have serious doubts over. I do not know if the squeeze test performed in that video validates silicone or not, but can tell you without an ounce of doubt that my Vandy vape bottles display a filler compound as described in that video when squeezed. My other bottles do not.

It requires dual coils to get close to the air intakes for best flavor. My eyes and hands don't work as good as they used to. Maybe I'm just angry that I'm getting old, lol.
I forgot to mention a couple of things:
1. The o-rings are perfect. The airflow is easily adjusted without unscrewing the atty.
2. Although I don't really like flathead screws, I have had zero slippage of the screwdriver.

Well, one international package arrived from the backlog void today -- this one shipped from FT Oct 31, and tracking on 17track.net showed it handed off to carrier Nov 9. That's what tracking still shows, and the tracking number still doesn't exist in the Canada Post tracking system, but I signed for it today. This gives me hope that I'll see my other packages soon (even if tracking remains static/blank).

It's the Etna RDA:

Here it is on an Ego One 1100, next to my Atto (18350) and Doggystyle:

I'm using it as a dripper for now. I installed one of round-wire coils that came with it (1.15 ohms) and am using the installed 2-hole air-block. Nice smooth MTL draw and good flavor --- it may supplant my Ego One + Berserker as my standby dripper:

I read this as 'I have grown 3 cats.' and was thoroughly amazed and slightly worried for a moment.

Happy new mod day! Enjoy!

I am! Feeling sorry for the Pico, though, since it has now been fitted with a tank with a secondary flavor and will thus be getting far less attention from now on. I hope it doesn't start sulking. (On the other hand, maybe it will welcome the lighter workload.)

Hey, I just want to say I love you all.. :) just needed to say it.

And for the newbies - it's nice to meet you. I've not been around because I kind of quit vaping, and have been dealing with some health issues, but I've long been on this forum, and am definitely opinionated... hahaha. I'm nice though, and it's truly nice to meet you all ..

I invited @David America to the thread - if he comes back he's wanting advice on a dual coil RTA.. what to buy, but he might be shy, I don't know .. lol.

Hello, I guess I'm one of the newbies. Really liking this forum, some great people, well for the most part, the people on this Shiny thread have an evil way of encouraging constant purchases ;)

I'm sorry about your health problems, hope you're doing better!

Guess I'm not really a newbie, but I've been on and off the forums for 7 years now. Also quit vaping 2 times, but I hope I can get the shinyitis and forum addiction under control this time.

I hope your rehabilitation is going well.

I have a small stash for any eventuality. I want to get some high end mechs, after that I am fairly well done I think.. But shinyitis is a difficult thing, you just cant resist sometimes. I even bought some gear when I was fully quit.. hahaha

My husband vapes as well, but he is just a MTL vaper and I have him on a Siren 22 and a P3.. perfect for him.. He is screwed though if I'm ever not here. He doesn't even fill his tank or change his battery, I do it all for him...lol.

Very nice to meet you, too. And @David America is being well cared for.

Hope your health nonsense calms down soon!

Hi end mechs?? That's not falling down the rabbit hole, that's the journey to the center of the earth. There, I've done my civic duty and warned you.

Which ones do you have in mind? :D

My credit card was compromised yesterday, and I won't get the replacement for five to ten working days. This would stink if I needed to do Christmas shopping, but as it is I'm relieved that my shinyitis is going to be held at bay for a while.
