Add in that Darren is not going to get wild and crazy with fads and gimmicks.. The man built his rock solid rep with quality gear that vapes to perfection.. I am sure he is happy leaving the gimmicky new stuff to others...

I bet you'll be thrilled with it.. If it's your 1st Hellfire, you'll be massively impressed with the build quality. If you had his gear before then you already know what you are getting..

Post up some photos after it lands please...

I am not purchasing one – was just curious as to why an individual thinks the deck is dated. Outside digital driptips and wireless powered atomizers (where is our mad scientist friend?) what is defined as modern?

My bad... It's @Sickbxy who bought it.. I got lost, dazed and confused reading along as I've not had enough coffee (read: Life Support juice) this am yet.. :D

Yes I am being serious. Please provide an example of something that you consider modern.
Go check out the Ringlord to name one, an example of how companies are constantly evolving and innovating to improve airflow and deck design. How about you name something that's come out in the last few months that's exactly the same as you could buy 2 years ago.

I bet if I posted 4 pictures of RDAs ranging from 2014 to 2018 you guys would be able to order them chronologically or at least point out which 2 are old and which 2 are new.

One of the easiest tells for me, of which one is modern, is the one with airflow that is less susceptible to leaking, and a post that incorporates a squonk pin. We could argue squonking RDAs have existed for a long time, but even mass chinese manufactured ones are now far from a standard post set up (i.e. velocity) with a hole in the pin.

If you guys want to see an old school deck released in a new rda be sure to check this one out

Now that's old school. Especially if you used to rebuild coil heads.

For the price of that RDA the deck is absolutely ludicrous and it doesn't vape worth a sh*t. The build quality is absolutely stunning though as it is all hand made, a real piece of art.

He is supposed to be coming out with a normal style deck bringing the RDA into 2014...

The airflow for the Ringlord is unique – but is it successful? Would you buy one because of its modern design? It’s deck however, which is the topic of debate, is of a postless design that dates back to 2015/16.

There are many modern atomizers that take design ques from products of the past.

I completely agree. That workmanship is amazing. That's where you're paying for the time and skill that went into making it. But man, that build method.

I have 3 of them. :D
That's awesome! Big props for a small guy out of Canada making solid products. Another small company out of Canada got his best single coil RTA, QP Designs Juggerknot Mini.

Could you please link to the page? The image only shows SS in the recall title: “SS TRVP Billet Plate”. I find a full line recall odd, since gold has been out forever and there was even a 2nd run made. Mines taped up anyways (had to because the USB connector was shorting the board, so I taped everything up).

Edit: found the post on Facebook. He specified SS. I’ll PM him later today to make sure.
Sounds like it might just be the stainless finish, what is confusing is that they are all made of stainless... I would still drop them a line.

Top notch machining, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. A bit of a let down when I saw the deck though, it looks like something that came out a year and a half ago. I'm not going to put down something you just ordered, I'm sure it will perform solidly, just not what I'd expect.

I hit it last week, was instantly sold, I think it was the air flow. It will be a solid vapemate to the n duro...
