Not rubberized. And, it's beautiful. At least I think so. In fact, the finish on all of them is great. I have gunmetal, Royal Blue (gorgeous), black, green, white and red. Yeah, I sorta got carried away.

Well, if the black is rubberized, then the gunmetal is also. Maybe I'm not interpreting what you mean by "rubberized" correctly. The finish on all of them is the same, though.

Not sure. I just figured it cost more to produce the paint or something. Anyway, the finish on all colors is very nice. And, no rubber coating. (I thought you were saying the black was rubberized. That's what threw me off. It's easy to do...lol)

I have a black one and it’s not rubber coated. I have a bit of trouble with the touchscreen on the minikins, (as I do with most touchscreens, like phones, tablets) but not on the Colossal. I’d definitely buy again.

No the rubberized coating on the black is not the same as the Gunmetal which is shiny
