Somehow I managed to change the firing mode to "high," which was a shock, and then, also by means unknown to me, changed it to "normal," which is just right. It must have been on "soft" when I first tried it and was disappointed. But how did I change it at all? I have no idea.
It really is a nice mod. Solid and feels good in the hand. I had to retrain my thumb to find the firing button automatically, but it was a quick learner.
So I guess I'm now going to have five mods in active rotation. A dedicated bath mod will be the height of luxury. No more switching the tank from the JAC to the Aegis when I go in for a soak!

I found nothing in the manual, but a little experimenting showed me that you're exactly right: swipe down to unlock and then swipe again to scroll through the firing modes. I had been swiping repeatedly because I didn't think the screen had unlocked, and that's how I moved from the initial "soft" through "normal" to "high." More random swiping then fortuitously landed me on "normal" again. Now I know how to do it on purpose. Well now that I have unpacked my shiny mail (shoes) and then came here to read about real world problems (tanks matching mods and wonder what color I should get next) I think I have had it for the day. I think I actually have shiny stuff in the mailbox from today because it seems when I am checking my mailbox at noonish and getting mail out what I am actually getting out is the day before mail. I swear my postal carrier used to come around noon. I almost backed into her today coming home because there she was putting what looked like a small priority box in my mailbox. My dog was with me and had to go potty so there was no time to stop and check.
Ya I understand Jai is not the most popular reviewer which is why I time stamped the link right around him displaying how the device changes colour to minimize having to watch the video. If there was a better video displaying how the Colossal changes colour I would have linked it. Google “Asmodus Colossal color changing”, there is a Facebook vid that also shows the device changing colour.

Heavens no!!! I was referring to myself. I figured out the screen swipe sequence by pure accident.
You're a smarter chimp than I, then. I changed the fire mode by pure accident and couldn't figure out anything.
Anyone have anything out shipping atm in the usa? Can you check your tracking and tell me if it says a label created all of a sudden.
