Oh! Loved mine!!! Bought one at college and drove it everywhere. All of my friends drove exotics (and I could afford a Porsche 911 back then), but I loved my Rabbit. Then in Buenos Aires I had a Golf GTI MK4 for nearly 20 years. Now they're SOOOO expensive I can only afford to look at a Golf.
I had a 79 Rabbit back in HS. It was Primer grey with a lot of Neuspeed under the hood. I drove that car everywhere. I have a lot of memories in that car. My newer one is a 2009. I have driven this one all over the Western US. I was going to trade it in for a newer GTI but I love this car and am thinking of keeping it now. They wanted to give me $2000 in trade It needs interior work from LV summers. but is very dependable. There is a large selection of aftermarket parts for them. I avoid the sites for now. I want to get a daily driver and garage this one to build it.
They brought the Rabbit back this year but it is the top end Golf. The $40,000+ price tag is just a wee bit out of my budget.
Here's a pic I took after 60 miles of frozen mountain roads near Tahoe.

Compare the chamber hole of the intake (take of ya drip tip) with the elevate. I've been doing that with my attys. The elevate is about the same size as the doggy - maybe the intake is bigger there?
They’re about the same size. I had immediately changed to a 510 dt , so I went back and switched dt adapters to see if that was the problem. Oddly, it wasn’t any better as a low ohm , high watt dl vape.

When I was first buying rta's and getting into building I learned early on not to listen to anyone.

Trustworthy prrson A would say oh this is an airy RTA so I'd buy it and it's like sucking a milkshake through a coffee stirer..

But over to trustworthy person B and they would say oh this is a nice tight draw and it slams air directly into your lungs with the force of a Mack truck..

Air is so subjective I couldn't trust anyone on what was good. I literally bought DOZENS of crap RTA's on others people's say so....

It wasn't until the Hastur came out that I learned more of what I needed for airflow as far as various diameter sizes etc. It's been a lot easier since..
Now you are the expert!

How's your weekend there boots!?!?

@MikeADore - I've used the innokin eq - it's a mtl draw, good battery size and great flavour. They've just released the DV. Lost vape orion has lots of fans, aspire breeze 2 is another goodie and it sounds like the smok nord is also a good pod

Thanks. I'll read up on some of them.

The air intakes are big, just to look at the tubes you could tell! Oh, well, maybe PIF?
Well whoever wants it can come pick it up. I’ll throw in several dozen of whatever citrus, pick your own in my back yard. We’ve picked 6-8 dozen each off the larger trees and haven’t even made a dent.

Don’t laugh, I just searched it and put it on my to buy list at Amazon. That’s a good looking tater masher! Looks ergonomic
    I took it another way.
Might get a inch of snow, going to buy milk bread and potatoes now.

I am so jealous. The only thing I would like about living in a hot place is the fruit. Especially citrus.

Can. Not. Make friends with the Intake :(... watched multiple videos, rebuilt three times, tried multiple different wickings... I don’t get what the hype was. It doesn’t have as much flavor as the Elevate. And, I’m finding the Intake airier, opposite of what reviewers said. I’ve stuck it in the Corner of Shame for the moment. I’m open to suggestions
I’ll take mine apart in the morning & take some pics for you on coil height. Maybe it’ll help. Mine taste fine just like any other rta I have.

Here it's about 120 bucks... I mostly buy locally due to customs problems.

they are running about 50 USD right now (stabwood is still higher) and are on clearance many places so the manufacturer is likely done making them.. that's just a guess but it seems logical. .

This is always the best time to buy mods, by now we know what's actually going to work good as well as last due to the plethora of people who forged ahead, plus you can get them on sale..
