it may be a long-term thing (it will most likely be a long term thing) because of my current state but i'll be shedding a whole lot of flavour concentrates in the next wee while. a load. the vast majority unopened.

(and for those that may ask - smir)
Thank you.
So I'm looking for a fairly cheap 18650 sized mod. Doesn't need a lot of power since I never go over 12W. TC would be nice but it's not important to me. The Aegis looks good but the fact that it can take larger batteries makes it bigger than it might be. Long time since I got a new mod and the choice is kind of overwhelming these days.
Another vote for the Colossal here. I bought six.

I love this bit from the Mitchell and Webb video: "Everyone knows that children's bodies look better in a white bath. And, before you say that sounds weird, I mean alive or dead."

Today's shinies are about fifty bucks' worth of Raymond Briggs books. Free, in effect, because I used a gift card and points. Now to find a decently priced copy of The Tin-Pot General and the Old Iron Woman.

I just had a bit of fun buying stuff. It's been a while. I searched around for KFL parts. Found the last few positive pins, deck insulators and base insulators left in the universe, got a bag of each from 3 different places. Now I've got 3 packages in transit and they are all delayed by the weather. No deliveries here today.

My old Jac died so I want to get one more mod to replace it. Could get yet another Pico but I really want something different. I love the iStick 40. Exactly the right size and shape for me, they are going for $30. But on the other hand replaceable batteries are a good thing.

I always thought a clock display would be cool.

Any suggestions?
If you don't want a touch screen, I just got a Joyetech eVic Primo Mini 80W. I love it! It's a small, one-battery mod. Here's where I got it: $37.39 Authentic Joyetech eVic Primo Mini 80W TC VW APV Box Mod

A little something to brighten your day:

My husband and I went through the McDonald's driveway window and I gave the cashier a $5 bill.
Our total was $4.25, so I also handed her 25c.
She said, 'you gave me too much money.'
I said, 'Yes I know, but this way you can just give me a dollar back.'
She sighed and went to get the manager who asked me to repeat my request.
I did so, and he handed me back the 25c, and said 'We're sorry but we don’t do that kind of thing.'
The cashier then proceeded to give me back 75 cents in change.
Do not confuse the people at MacD's.

We had to have the garage door repaired.
The repairman told us that one of our problems was that we did not have a 'large' enough motor on the opener.
I thought for a minute, and said that we had the largest one made at that time, a 1/2 horsepower.
He shook his head and said, 'You need a 1/4 horsepower.'
I responded that 1/2 was larger than 1/4 and he said, 'NOOO, it's not. Four is larger than two.'
We haven't used that repairman since...

I live in a semi rural area.
We recently had a new neighbor call the local city council office to request the removal of the DEAR CROSSING sign on our road.

The reason: 'Too many dears are being hit by cars out here! I don't think this is a good place for them to be crossing anymore.'
IDIOT SIGHTING IN FOOD SERVICE.

My daughter went to a Mexican fast food and ordered a taco.
She asked the person behind the counter for 'minimal lettuce.'
He said he was sorry, but they only had iceberg lettuce.

I was at the airport, checking in at the gate when an airport employee asked,
'Has anyone put anything in your baggage without your knowledge?'
To which I replied, 'If it was without my knowledge, how would I know?'
He smiled knowingly and nodded, 'That's why we ask.'

The pedestrian light on the corner beeps when it's safe to cross the street.
I was crossing with an 'intellectually challenged' co-worker of mine.
She asked if I knew what the beeper was for.
I explained that it signals blind people when the light is red.
Appalled, she responded, 'what on earth are blind people doing driving?!'
She is a government employee.....

When my wife and I arrived at a car dealership to pick up our car after a
service, we were told the keys had been locked in it.
We went to the service department and found a mechanic working feverishly to unlock the driver’s side door.
As I watched from the passenger side, I instinctively tried the door handle and discovered that it was unlocked.
‘Hey,' I announced to the technician, 'its open!'
His reply, 'I know. I already did that side.'
STAY ALERT!

My last shiny acquisition.

Lost Vape Paranormal 250C, obviously excessive for my MTL style, but truly eye-catching and very distinctive ..
I have the scarlet passion in SS with fish scale ( or whatever that’s called) and a gunmetal/wood panels. My daughter asked why I had two. Well, because I liked the Scarlet passion color. And she said, oh, so now your mods have stripper names?

I've had the Tesla WYE 85W for a few months now and just love it. So light, easy to use and TC is great on it.
They are at FT for $33 I think, have a look, great reviews on them as well.

Cheers. That looks like just the job.

I'm almost ready to hit send. The Colossal sounds good. Got to decide quick to get that discount. Only reservation I have is all that swiping stuff sounds like another thing that could fail.

It's like the old UFO effect. All that incredible technology. They fly through untold light years dodging black holes and gamma rays and when they finally get to Earth they crash all over the place. Simple is good sometimes.

Have they been around long enough to know how well touch screens hold up?
I have had my original Minikin for almost two years and no problem with it, touchscreen or otherwise. I am low tech and found it easy to use. I do not even use TC.

I have the minikin ( can NOT make friends with the swipe) and the colossal. The menu on the Colossal is leaps and bounds easier to work. I have zero patience with fiddly/techy things (gave away four different mods because I couldn’t work the menu), and I have no problem with its swipe system
I have 2 older minikins - got them last summer- and 4 Colossals, one is a few months old. And the new Kodama. The minikins give me all kinds of hassle with the screen, but the others swipe very nicely. Even for me. And I have trouble with all things touch screen and or motion sensor.

I love them all. And I never accidentally adjust anything on them.

It’s great once I got it to the right wattage. To me, the screen is less responsive than the colossal. But, it may just be a quirk of my particular mod. The colossal is a breeze

@englishmick - I've been on a quest to outdo my pico 75w since I first got one, 9 months ago ;)

Colossal won, it replaced the pico as my daily mod. Close second was the vaporesso tarot baby mod - it's downside was an internal battery. But I love the fire bar, it hits fast and it has a real time clock. Another goodie is the wismec sinuous p80

Man, only tangentially related to shiny things in that I may be able to buy MORE... I (think, I wasn't clear and I need opinions about that) MAY be offered the position of my dreams on the craziest little border town of them all, small enough that I could actually return to my true love COUNSELING, LOL. I was talking to my boss about moving to the crazy little border town doing what I do now because that lot all over there, they are wacky and strange and like CRIMINAL and etc., all my favorite things plus my pay would go up 15K a year, that's what they pay people to go work there, it's so bad.

I THINK it went down that way, my boss is gonna investigate and I guess they are starting a program there for counseling which I must admit I miss. My boss was like, "How about COUNSELING, I know you still are one," and I was like... "Counseling THERE....swoon." I hope I was clear when she was like "But... salary... IDK I would have to investigate..." and I was like, I could SEE a nominal one or two K decrease JUST because it's counseling (everyone thinks counseling was the runt of the litter even though it's hard) but that would depend on the differential (which I know is at LEAST 15K if not more by now, since that town could be overrun any second by Mexico, totally (the Mexicans would win, BTW).

I hope she doesn't think I would work there AT ALL without a large differential because, frankly, I find it wild and dangerous and appealing and all those things, but I'm a NUT. So I hope she does not think I would do it for 2K less than I make now because I certainly would remain where I AM.

So, IDK should I clarify with her? Don't want to be misunderstanding or do I let her get all invested and be like, "Um no, you misunderstood." Or do I let her do all the investigating and then say, "Um we have a missing 15K somewhere." I'm thinking the former is better, and I will consult my peeps, but yea, I could use some advice, besides "are you insane your whitened bones will be used for MEXIcans for THEIR border wall when it's all through.

It's kind of a cool town. Very historic. It is also a total crumbling mess, with like, no amenities.

But forget all that do I email my supervisor or what?

    Anna
