In other news, my Luxotic started working properly again from the continuing to fire after you let go of the button syndrome. Having the cover plate off of the board/510 section lights up the side panel quite nicely, I shall drill a hole directly over the LED so the plate can go back on.

Which rda is that?? I like the bell shape of it.

Is the Luxotic a straight mech or unregulated with some built in stuff? I ask only because I saw a spec it goes up to 100W and don't know if they're just calculating off a charged 18650 or that's all its built in protections will tolerate.

Its output is dependent on battery voltage but limits this to 100 watts max. So if you were to put a 0.1 ohm build on it with full battery, you would only receive 100 watts max out of it instead of the calculated 180(ish) as you would with a mechanical.

My Reload squonker is similar but with dual batteries it increased its limit to 130 watts max

So it isn't a mech, but unregulated with protections and stuff. Good to know. Nice little box for that price.

Didn't vape for three and a half hours after this mornings priming marathon ;)
    All good now.

I'm in TC mode on the colossal - using TCR mode, 400°F, 20 watts, ss316l set to 0.00092. I feel like a grown up vaper now :w00t:

It's not too different from wattage mode(14.5w there), it vapes a bit smoother. Is there meant to be much difference?

That looks nice! Haven't seen that one before. Sweet victory:)
I feel like the Goldilocks of tanks... it can’t be too airy, definitely not too tight. If it’s not my style, maybe one of y’all will want it.

Welcome to the club - should we rename the style goldilocks syndrome or pedantic picky chicks? ;)

Just what you’re experiencing- a smoother vape and if it’s doing its job- no dry hits!! That too me is one of the biggest things to me since I mostly drip. Every time I use Wattage when dripping I get dry hits  !! The biggest pro for me was being able to “control” the temp of the coil so I could keep it under a certain limit that was determined by some studies to be the “safest” ~ 450F.

So TC has a lot of incentives for me too use it. Glad you like it. It’s really so easy to use. It’s a shame that many people don’t try it who might like it imo because it appears daunting.
