Didn't you anyway?

Exceptions to prove this rule: My parents had a ginger short-haired female (imaginatively named Goldie). And my darling Mary was a tortoiseshell with the gentlest nature you could dream of. Such a sweet girl.

Campobello Island. Beautiful in the fall. The foliage display isn't much (too many pines), but, as a consolation prize, there are plenty of whales. I'm just across the channel; swing over, and I'll shout you a beer or two.

***

I am fond of the Pico 25, and it feels sturdy to me. Or, rather, I liked it and found it sturdy when I was using it. I took it out of rotation as I got different mods, and maybe now it wouldn't suit me at all. I should check that sometime.

Least liked mods:

Sinuous P80 -- I know many, many people love this mod, but I just don't get along with mine.

SX Mini SL -- I don't hate this fellow but not enough to make me okay with what I paid for it.

Dovpo M VV -- Perfectly fine, but not right for me, because I find adjusting the voltage to be finicky and don't like the weight of a two-battery device.

I have also bought many e liquids that I don't much care for, but that's bound to happen when buying online based on descriptions.

And if I had it to do over again, I'd get the Gyrfalcon All-44 instead of the All-88. I really don't need to be able to charge eight batteries at once.
Our torti maine .... is so laid back, Himself calls her Catdog. She even happily gets bi-weekly baths (she’s an older, now less obese middle ager who has had grooming issues). I wouldn’t on a dare try and bathe our 6 pound nebelung!

Most disappointing vape gear:
My first “real” mod... the original sigelei zmax that I waited at the store for the delivery man to bring on its release date. It was quickly replaced by a Provari.
Anything Vaporesso. I have bought and PIFed 4. I hate the menu system, it hates me... and I think they feel cheap.
For tanks, the leaky vivi nova with its finicky octopus coils , and the equally impossible nautilus2 with its coil that 2 out of 3 times came off with the cap.
I’ve bought and PIFed plenty others, but mostly because they didn’t fit me well. Those I just really disliked.

The Topside single does TC. You just needed to download and install new firmware. Now the firmware download is the same as the dual so you get the puff counter as well if things like that matter to you.

Tried that, it just refused to be recognised by Windows. Seen on Reddit a few people have bricked theirs attempting to upgrade, so I'm staying well away ....

Mine gathers dust too after the Juggernaut.
The single or dual? I have duals and like them. Never had them side by side with the Juggerknot though. Which I really like. It’s just SO big though. It looks funny on most of my mods. For top air, right now my fave is the Horace, and bottom air the Gear. Imma need another one of those for sure. And I still haven’t changed the cotton in that! I’ll admit everyone is right that rebuildables are the way to go, but dang I’m too lazy for all the fiddling.

I picked up the 0.8mmx0.3mm from Zivipf in SS, N80 and KA1.
The SS makes a great 6/5 3mm TC build for the single cell DNA squonkers.
I got .2×.8mm and .1×.5 I think the .1×.5 will be a winner in the Pebble/Hastur. I want to keep the mass down and resistance up while still getting decent surface area. I'm trying for loose mtl and to get the most out of the 1300 mah. I will use the .2×.8 for other things. Maybe even dust off some dual coil rdas.

Ooh SOMETIMES things don't go as planned.... I will blame joytech for SOME of it so be warned.

I thought today was Monday but it's not. I was gonna leisurely recoil my freaking, True tank (I accidentally vaped it at 68 watts on the drive, it burned through the coil instantly.

My coilmaster is dead. It's fine, I don't USUALLY leak catastrophically all over mods any more, so I grabbed the Joytech evec whatever, and had this lovely coil mounted, then I wicked it and it leaked. I was like "yeah, not enough legs" so then I REWICKED it and a leg of the dang coil came loose and I spent A long Time a Very long time reconnecting that wire because it was SO PERFECT the second wicking event and the coil was nice too.

Then I got a bunch off weird (I was later to learn) Joytech you know, "Censored to you Anna, wild and crazy low/no etc atomizer warnings.

Sigh I started over Got a lovely 1.3 coil on there. Wicked it great, WEIRD WARNINGS and then I was like, "If this is the mod, l might break it."

So THEN I put it on my Minikin V2 and it was lovely.... Except it was vaping weird and like a sieve, really (the top had been left open I later discovered) but so I pulled it out a bit, reseated the coil, redid the dang wicking AGAIN.

I mean... It's vaping fine now. Really lovely in fact. I finally got to taste some boston cream pie I made that is super fabulous. NOT COOL really.

I am supposed to go grocery shopping later, I might rethink that plan because holy jesus. Etc.

IDK we will see. I can build that atomizer in the dark now I think, practice may make perfect but perfect's bloody TIRING.

No, there are 3 reviews 1 in German & 2 in English.
Link didn’t show on the work computer until I came back to the thread a couple minutes later. Does that quite a bit, ECF gets slow. Thanks for the help, now I can try the atty without worrying about the tank cracking.

I'm gonna try to use that later.....
Wish me luck;)

Good luck

As a beside I thought for hubby to try the Nord. He doesn't like the fire button because it accidentally depresses in his pocket, whereas the zero pod has no fire button. (turning something off is a trial, apparently.
lol)

So it was a strike... waiting for another zero pod in the mail..

Who is winning?

Arent many left after the big bumper thumper they just had lol.
5 clicks before pocketing the nord solves the pocket fire.... just an extra step for safety so tell him I said :pervy:
I like it for size and the amount of vapor produced. Fire button can be helpful if riding. Had a friend whose pod autofired when he took it out, we figure the wind triggered the mod. Could have been a fluke but.....

OK. With much trepidation ....

Name your worse vaping purchases and why.

My top 3:
  • 5GVape Freedom 22mm. Didn't realise this was more a MTL RDA with a tight AF. The squonk pin also was reverse threaded, so I effectively had to butcher it with mole grips to change it. In my spares pile as I'm concerned it is no longer safe (The pin just turns round and round now and the 510 screw thread is slightly dented as I mauled it prior to discovering its little "secret").
  • Hugsvape Ringlord. Looks good, airflow concept revolutionary. Taste, uninspiring. Coiling, painful. Could be a great RDA in the right hands, but have lost the will to experiment with it. Triumph of shiny over functionality.
  • Arctic Dolphin Anita. My first squonker. Bought it heavily discounted, but it hasn't got the same quality feel as the Topside or the Luxotic. Should have saved my pennies and bought something like the Ohmboy X Desire. It is still in use, but if and when it dies I won't have the same regret than if any of my other mods expire.
Not bad at all, considering 7 months of profligate Shinyitis.

My top 3 worst purchases:

1. The Vector rda by VLS-- the flavor was awesome. Getting the flavor out of it was painful. It would so hot after two hits it would burn your lips. I believe it was Mr. Mann (a member here) who called it a death trap.
2. The Kennedy rda- what good is a dripper if you can't drip your juice in it? I mean you could, but it would leak out before the cotton could saturate.
3. Provari p3 titanium-- I bought this bad boy when my vaping style needed at least 40 watts.

For me a single SS coil on a mech was a horrible experience but then again I don't vape at 40W. So all my single coil RDAs live on DNA mods with SS builds. The only SS I run these days on a mech are dual fused at 0.11Ω, as the coil gets hot the resistance slides quite nicely into a reasonable range for the battery.

I just thought I'd mention about the SS wire to @Fidola13 since it's her first mech, If you have any good build suggestions then I imagine she would be all ears.

Yep I’m ALL Years. I’ve done nothing but read all I can and watch videos about building for mechs even though it has a mosfet.

Appreciate it.

How much juice or cotton are you putting in the Kennedy? I’ve been using one daily with ss 316l Clapton’s or single rounds with 3 ID and I’ve never had a leak. Oh but I’ve been using rayon. Are you using cotton? Honest to god it’s a great great RDA for both flavor and clouds.

I use only cotton. Perhaps I'll pull it out and try again. It's also copper inside and out, which kind of bothers me. I debated putting it on my top 3; the Pharaoh dripper tank by Rip Trippers was in the running.
