I have three, and none wobble. All are dead flat (yes, it made me go check!!!) Very odd. Does it LOOK domed on the bottom? That would concern me, since it’s an internal battery mod.

Being matt black it's impossible to see anything. No reflections to key off. With the rubberized finish it has a little give and it's hard to tell by touch. There does seem to be a very slight bulge in the center of the base. It would only take a tiny amount of irregularity to make it wobble. It's the only mod I ever had that didn't have a metal base.

A little annoying but not a big deal.

Good morning all,

Heavy snow here in Toronto – hoping this does not affect my deliveries! Also ordered a scale yesterday. After a bit of searching locally I did not find one that would suit DIY at a reasonable cost. There is a Hemp related store minutes away from me that has more scales than one could imagine (go figure!!). BUT… all the reasonably priced ones were out of stock. So ordered the American Weights LB-501, which seems to be a popular choice.
That's the one I use, it's been great for me.

The Cool Fire Pebble made me remember I had the Cool Fire 1 way back when. This mod was an 18350 mod. It's about as large as a modern 18650 mod. IIRC it was set to 8 watts, no adjustment. How times have changed.

Edit: I think I was rockin 2.4 ohm coils in that tank...

Few of the local DIY juice retailers also sell it, but at an inflated cost which is why I wanted to see if I could find something just as functional but more reasonably priced. But found the LB-501 on Amazon for a good 30% less than what local stores are selling it for.

Amazon just about always wins. And with free 2 day prime shipping it's not like you have to wait. Depending where you live it can be even faster. They seem to have a warehouse right across in NJ as I've gotten free same day delivery, which really kills all desire to go to a store.

Put a piece of cling film on a tray of sand (or salt or sugar or flour or . . .), set the mod on it, and check the depression for curves.

Got the eVic Primo Mini I ordered on January 31. Having trouble setting the clock, but I'll figure out. What's bothering me, though, is that the warranty card is missing the security code, without which the warranty is void. I almost certainly won't need it, but nevertheless I've contacted the vendor. Don't see what they can do, but this seems a reasonable first step.

Vape mail!! My flavours arrived and much to my surprise so did my scale. The Five Pawns juice should be tomorrow.

The scale is much smaller than I thought it would be - and mine came with an included cereal bowl. Eating my Count Chocula out if it now (it’s kinda small!).

Will be a busy afternoon! :D
