Good Morning and Happy Shiny Friday ... I don't have any shiny things coming today (that I know of) so I rebuilt the Etna RDAs on my SQ and Athena squonks, and the berserker on the new epipe -- all freshly coiled goodness for the weekend.

Not that I have anything planned for the weekend, but my brother is taking our mother from Sat afternoon to Sun evening ... so I'll be free to do something wild like lie on the floor and pretend to be a carrot for several hours (maybe move up to broccoli).

Hey me too! I come to this thread to see what my full potential could look like and realize very quickly I am not color coordinated. And, If I had a nickel for every time I asked myself, "where in the hell did they find that?", I'd be filthy rich. I've seen more stuff that I've never seen. Lucky for me Karen Carpenter wrote songs about this, so I cue her up and everything seems to be okay. Rage Against the Machine also has a similar effect.

I hope I didn't offend anyone, I'm just lurking and looking through the window at you all.

So, keep your clothes on.

The Flint and Cube kits have arrived!! I was prepared for the Flint to be little, but it’s TINY!! Makes me want to find a 18350/18500 regulated tiny mod. Tiny as in smaller than my provari mini. Getting picky, but tiny like the Flint, but 24mm. Yep, not asking for much.

morning all.
thanks to whoever mentioned legendgadget. always good to have more options and their prices do seem keen.
updated the firmware/board on my vk530. have never liked firmware since firmware became a thing. it went smoothly. mostly. it's a capable bit of kit. very pleased with it.

Why did it need a firmware update? It is there an issue or something different? It’s a smart looking setup with that tank!!

This side of the world the Friday is drawing to a close... we are still on the winter hours, and the Sun is setting at this very moment below the horizon in a cloudy sky.

Fingers slipped, fingers tapped, the smarty phoney obeyed, I have a Dani Box v2 blue in the mail, with some Molicel for good company.

Not the latest Dani box mini, but the original size device which I had in black, but was only 60 W. The Dani v2 is 80 W. I felt I should have had a representation of the new technology in the old case, which is the one that fits my hand best.

I'll oblige with photographs of my latest acquisition as soon Royal Mail delivers it.

The Sun has completely set here, and a busy evening is now on the cards.
The working day which has just passed is already dissolving itself into some foggy memories, and the night to be is telling promises of new shinyes and new joys for the weekend.

Enjoy your shinyes everyone - with some moderation to avoid inconsistencies with the budget...

no idea. i like tech and to tinker.
it certainly wasn't malfunctioning before the upgrade.
i remember i updated a dvd rom drive when they first came out (x1 speed) .
i used the version for the tray instead of the slotted. let's just say it wasn't terribly happy about it.

Looking forward to seeing it!! I’m still on the fence about buying a stabwood Dani. I love the form of the Dani’s. I’d definitely need at least 80watts.

Paid a premium (... Well, three pounds more) for a Saturday delivery. If everything goes according to plans, I can show it here at my afternoon time (which is GMT now).
Cheers...

no shiny to show lately. I have been buying jewelry making stuff. I realize my hobbies are crossing over because I have emailed a couple of jewelry suppliers asking for copper orings when I am really looking for copper jump rings. Of course I keep getting answers back that they do not carry orings......
