It arrived and does indeed get hot. I even had to turn it down from the highest setting.

I do have quite a few quibbles, though:

1. It is quite heavy. Not enough to be uncomfortable, but I could see the weight bothering some people.

2. It's a bit stiff, which makes it a little awkward. Don't get me wrong--it does bend. But depending on how you're using it, the stiffness might be uncomfortable (I, for example, am draping it over my right shoulder, and the edge of the pad hitting my neck doesn't feel great).

3. You can feel the stones in the pad, so lying on it might be uncomfortable to some. I don't mind them, myself.

4. The power cord plugs into a socket attached to the pad, and, because the stones have to face the body, one sometimes can't position the pad in such a way that the socket isn't in the way. With the pad over my right shoulder, the socket is at the bottom right, where it's kind of annoying. If I were using it on my back or my belly, there would be no problem.

Conclusion: The temperature and the quality of the heat make me willing to tolerate all these drawbacks, though, of course, I would prefer not to have to. Depending on how/where you would deploy it, you might be more or less content with it than I.

I didn't realize it wasn't a new mod until point 3.

My 7 day steep of raspberry ice cream lasted 3 days til I threw 3ml in an rta

I did make 40ml so 37ml is 'steeping' away. The 3ml steeping in my RTA is awesome
I can't believe I spent a whole year without berry mixes

    The lesson in this is:

    a) One commercial pineapple juice that tasted like ... doesn't mean ALL fruit mixes taste like ...

    b) RTA steeping lessens your supply of absolutely awesome (not just awesome) mixes :thumb:

    c) Mix 40ml more in the morning ;)

I am a bit the same way. I haven't had a lot of success with fruit mixes but I am definitely going to give your Raspberry Icecream recipe a go!

Thanks :). I’d too prefer not to start the day heating my back into submission. Too hot sounds great. Either I’ve totally baked the skin on my back, or heating pads don’t get as hot as they used to. Very useful explanation of it.

I think this pad would be great for back pain. Honestly, the worst thing about it is the location of the socket.

It seems to be the way they are now. My newest one is the same. Irritating, if it unplugs from the pad, I have to also unplug/replug into the wall to make it come back on. If I were physically able to twist behind the chair to reach the plug, I wouldn’t need the freaking heating pad in the first place o_O. Solved that with an extension cord, but it seems needlessly complicated. If that’s the worst thing I have to face each morning, I really shouldn’t complain. But I did I guess ... so, shame on me

Bah, complain away. Sometimes it's necessary.

A little bit of spending money is a rare thing these days but my change has always been spending money and I'm not changing my way of thinking now...LOL.I just happened upon VaporRange's website and a gray Colossal just jumped into my tank. The white is very pretty to look at but I like the more basic boring colors. Then I happened a upon the Efun site and a Black + Blue Aegis Mini with tank jumped in the cart. I had no choice. I need these pv's like a hole in the head but it's so nice to have something new sometimes.:)

    Good morning all!

As happens every time I say I don’t need anything or I’m trying to save up for whatever... I ordered a Luna squonk mod. I have a few RDAs that are okay for dripping but not something I want to vape seriously. So I looked at a bunch, narrowed it down to the Recurve, Bunker, and Dead Rabbit. There are things I like and dislike about all of them, in window shopping mode, but hopefully at least one will work for me because I bought all three. Which as you know, is my brand.

In my research of the Luna, there are lots of complaints about the squonk bottle leaking.

Not every bottle leaks so some think it might be a QC issue with the bottles, who knows.

Apparently, using the boxer squonk bottle is the fix because those are better made (better design)

Again, this is according to the research I've done.

So you may want to ask some of the Luna owners in this thread if you should grab an extra boxer squonk bottle or not, or if they are having the same difficulties in regards the Luna bottles..

Thanks for the info. I’ll keep an eye on that. I’m not even sure this’ll be my thing, I just wanted to try and see.

    Morning all.
