Good morning shinies! Yesterday was super weird. LOL I hate goodbyes I got my office packed up and everything organized and found (or found out) everything or most things I need to know for my new site.
Then I had to endure the love: a card, pizza and cupcakes, hugs, "We will miss you but you will do great.."
Almost unendurable. For one, my team is totally adorable and I will miss them. I'm the type of person who is like, "I wish I could call out but here-- let me buy you breakfast and leave it in the breakroom." At least a lot of it got et. When I first came I brought snacks that were just WAY too healthy, LOL.
The whole time I was thinking "My team is too nice! WHY would I spend 6 months getting to know these people, then going on to a NEW team, I am an idiot."
I'm sure my new team will be equally if not more nice. I mean, it's kind of the corporate culture.
I FINALLY coiled my doggy. I did it on speakerphone with the husband because I figured even the very dulcet tones of his voice would like, make the Things Behave. It took about five minutes, start to finish. I am liking my new "Heaven Berry Smash white chocolate mix." It's not too sweet, anyway.
I go home on Monday. I plan to do as little as possible and to not leave the apartment, then pack and clean it (except for the floors) and get on to packing EVERYTHING else.
I have a feeling this may not be as bad for me this time, etc.
If I have not mentioned the husband has found a parcel of land I LOVE. It's so pretty! 48 acres. Electricity an sewage!
I hope we can make enough from the sale of the house to just buy it, then stick a house on there. Well, "just stick" is not quite how it works, but you know what I mean.
