I’m not on a shiny ban, but there’s nothing I really want right this second. I ought to take my temperature, I might be coming down with something.

Actually I should be doing some rba maintenance instead of shopping anyway. But my power just went out. Wind.

I bought 2 of the new LV Orion Qs yesterday... They're gorgeous! :hubba: Breazy had a special $21.99 price on them yesterday and I found a coupon (closed20) for 20% off. I threw a Minifit in there, too, because it was about $13 and is so FREAKIN' adorable.

I have the very same Ark (I forgot I had it!)... Now I'm looking at Gears. Thankfully, people seem to really like the clones at FT.

My car is 22 years old... A 1997 Chevrolet Lumina. It's body has dings, scratches, rust spots, patches of missing paint, and crank windows(!), but that engine is still going strong!

Ahhh you beat me my car a BMW 528i is 20 years old but in pristine condition. Drives amazing!!

Today is one of those very bad days... lost internet from 4:30am to 12:00 pm, now trying to get into some records that are in a cloud (which I needed earlier) and apparently the clouds hate me now so I'm trying to get tech support which is non-existent on short notice and I think my blood pressure is through the roof..

Maybe buying something shiny will assuage the pain.. lol..

I've had this car since 2003. It was my Dad's (he passed away) and my Mom said it was too much car for her to drive, so I bought it from her. I was pregnant with my son and knew my little 2-door 92 Pontiac Sunbird (I bought that new) was going to be a PITA with a car seat. I've owned it longer than my father had. He loved that car, so part of me wants to hold onto it until it dies. At this point, the engine will outlast the body... That'll be me, driving an engine and 4 wheels. LOL!

My dad had a 95 Lumina that he gave to me when I just got my license. She was purple and the entire hood's clear coat peeled off.

It was so rusted underneath the chassis split in half and this happened too:

Luckily it was right when adult life started so I could afford getting a new car. I was also lucky that it imploded 50 feet from my front door.

RIP Bertha, you are missed.
Daughter #2 still has a 1999 green Lumina named the Green Hornet.... it just won’t die. But, she loves it. Drives like a tank

We have a Jeep Cherokee Sport, 2001 I think? We also have a Plymouth Voyager Van, (mini van) 1996 model I think..

The Jeep we bought in November, it had been broken down and sitting for a while, we've been putting money into it and fixing this or that ever since, but that thing can climb trees, it's awesome once we get all the bugs worked out.

I got my Liion battery order today, (Yea!) I hit that 2.99 sale.. the "free gift" with priority shipping is a Portable Mini Fan, which takes 18650 batteries, so that's cool! Something hubby can put on his desk at work...

Hope everything is going well for everyone today, I think I got all the bugs worked out in mine and I've sent DH to town to get me some ice cream (yea!)

I love ice cream, and it's a treat myself to ice cream day!

I had an 88 Cherokee. When I sold it it had 288,000 miles. Still ran pretty good and passed smog. Had some issues by that point but that Jeep was the best car I ever had.

No shiny for me (again) but this is the sweet kitty I named Clementine on her way home today after her surgery. Lots of recovery time, 2-3 weeks expected for her and then I will have to find her a home. She is on meds and has to have her incision cleaned twice daily due to drainage. Heres hoping she is not the kind of cat that chews on her incision because I would hate to have to put a surgical collar on her after all she has been through. She had 4 tiny babies still alive but deformed in the womb. No chance for them to survive.
She is a total sweetheart.

So what are they going to do? Just let her have the kittens naturally?
