I won’t question why anyone does what they do in grief. Especially in those first moments.
I saw it coming but I was still in shock. When my husband stopped breathing I wondered around the house for about 20 minutes. I didn’t believe it had happened. And after I was sure what I was seeing was true, I had no idea what to do. Nobody had told me. All I could think was to call 911.
Next thing I remember I was surrounded by police and EMS. They brought the defibrillator kit in, started taping heart monitor things to his chest. I panicked. I said he’s got a DNR. He didn’t, but I couldn’t let them try to bring him back. I guess that would look pretty bad to someone else, but he wouldn’t have wanted it, and I couldn’t bear to watch him die again, and he absolutely would have. Just more suffering to be had down that path.
And the Chief stayed with me after everyone else had gone, and told me to call someone. He didn’t want to leave me alone. So I called my SIL. All I could say was “this is the call. I’m sorry. But this is the call”
Thank god she figured out what I meant. She picked up my daughter on the way.
And the chief stood on the porch with me while I waited for her. It was February. He asked if I was cold, but I couldn’t feel a thing. I feel incredibly thankful whenever I think of that, he just stood with me. It was terribly kind, more than he could know.
When my sil and daughter got there, my daughter went straight to the kitchen, grabbed shot glasses out of the cupboard, tequila from the freezer, and poured us all a shot. She’s not a drinker, but that was her way of being close to her dad.
We all do whatever it takes.

I have those too. Nicer that I’d have thought. Just I have to be careful not to tighten the atties down very hard on them because they push the pin up a bit on some of them.

@Opinionated looks like we're both getting a Z Biip. I never win stuff so I was shocked. Well nit totally true, I won once before and it was from Innokin as well. That was a Zenith/CF mini and an EQ pod. Not my normal stuff but ended up really liking both and they're regular pocket carrys for me when I'm out. This will be a nice little addition.

I don't mind the airflow most of the time. How did you plug yours? Sometimes I just block a few of the holes with my thumb and then fire with my index finger. Not too much trouble. I'm using the mesh coil too. I tried my gf's aio with the regular coil but the flavor is kind of muted.
I don't have any experience with vandy vape products.... That Simple EX looks interesting. There are lots of videos on both the S.EX and the Pulse so you can become familiar with them and how they work. And, of course, you have this great place to bounce questions off the wall.
By the way, are you looking at the Pulse regulated device? The only reason I ask because I believe there is a Pulse mechanical device as well. If it is the mechanical one, please state so because there are some important things to learn so your experience can be a good and safe one.

I had an old oversized oring from something, that happens to be the same size as the airflow cutout.
On the inside of the airflow I mean, so I cut 2 small peice and plugged 1 hole on each side. I imagine almost anything could block it from the inside cutout. I like the oring because mine is black and you dont know it's there if you dont look closely.
The regular nord started to leak slightly on me. Has to be the plastic pods. Same coils in the aio have been bone dry. Well the 2 I have used so far anyway.
