Good morning Shiny's

George and Yoda were clipped yesterday and both are doing well. Was hoping George would sleep in this morning but nope...up at 4am as usual. Having a hard time convincing him mom doesn't have to be up as well.

I don't get when people who drip hate on squonking. It is simply a more convenient version. Oh well.. to each their own. Sorry for the accidental x.

Yeah but honestly, I feel I was sold a bill of goods on dripping and squonking..

I spent years on this forum hearing the rda crowd say how much better dripping was flavor-wise, and of course the extension of that is the squonker crowd - oh this is to die for blah blah blah..

It's not better than an RTA.. it may have some benefits, squonk bottle holds lots of juice compared to an RTA, but flavor?

Flavor is equal... no better than my RTA's for real. Therefore, unless a larger capacity is important for the user, which for many it truly is, then it's a useless endeavor.

I had all this built up in my mind based on all this excitement, only to be oh.. more juice capacity.. lol. It's not important for me.

I am glad I checked it out though, I actually think for some people like my son this squonking would be great..

Just need a dual 21700 squonker..

Actually I'm going to clarify here because at no point did I actually say I hated squonking so someone else is putting words in my mouth. I just said I felt it was pointless for me which is an opinion based on how I like to vape. I was also totally kidding around when I said you could take the top cap off and refill, which of course you can but sure squonkers are way more convenient if you need bucket loads of juice on tap. I seldom use RDA's these days but when I do I prefer to use them on my mechs for only short sessions. So a squonker is not really something I feel the need to purchase and would rather put that money towards what I do enjoy... RTA's.

My new OhmBoy Rage mod made an early shiny arrival. I love the rubberized coating. It kind of has a metal flake thing going on as well. I have the Twisted Messes rda on it.

Good morning Shiners! @Vape Muppet no worries, we kid around here all the time. Some folks don't like squonking and some do. There's no right or wrong with any of this stuff. I like my RTAs too, and even my few drop in coils and a pod. They all serve their own purpose and I wouldn't want to give up any of them.

You should be sure to visit the RTA subforum under Rebuildable Atomizers here, as there's a bunch of good info, and with mtl making a strong comeback in the market, a good source on what's new and worth the investment. A year or two ago there were few if any new mtl RTAs and it was all big dual coil fog up the room stuff. It's nice seeing a swing back towards products some folks really prefer.

I use mine for work and on the go. I agree I see no difference between flavor between a good RTA and an RDA. Squonkers are more durable (I am clumsy with my mods and I break glass tanks a lot) and small and light. The gear and plastic tank have gotten me back into RTAs lately, which you guys got me into , and for that I am grateful. i hardly ever use dtippers or tube mechs anymore, Too much stuff to carry around.

I didn't even think about the durability factor..

That is another positive your right..

Hey.. that means we need to get @stols001 squonking! She needs durability!

It's definitely Innokin you can see the itaste logo on the fire button :)

It's just weird seeing a mod with an output like that. Why would I ever waste good electricity on anything other than my vape? The 250C boards allow for charging with a little adapter plug thing. I left mine in the box.

We've tried:)
Edit: a Pulse 80 would save her other mods from almost certain doom.

In days gone by I would have said RDA flavour was way better but I only tried one RTA and it leaked all over the place so I was put off big time.

I've changed my attitude somewhat though since my BB. The RBA and tank is effectively an RTA and the flavour is better than some of my RDA's :)

the mvp3 that had a cord you could charge with and the USB plug. They were nice back then and did a whopping 60 watts.. Found a pic.

For me, dripping was only a way to test new mixes. Far too messy for regular vaping. Maybe it’s just me, or maybe the RDAs I was using were too leaky, but most likely it was me, plus nowhere for the excess to drain without bf.

“Flavor” is the siren call of all things vape. Everyone says that about their fave atty whatever style it ma be.

Some are better than others, but it depends on the build and all that... I think the Gear is as good as the recurve any day.

We just had an intense hail storm, thunder and lightning and the works. I should charge my batteries in case the power goes out.

Sorry, not you in particular. There are small but vocal groups around ecf that believe if you aren't doing it their way you are doing it all wrong. I think I have spent too much time on the argumentative threads for awhile and should maybe take a break. There is no.right or wrong way as long as it's safe.
