If you've got some plumbers tape you can take the pin out and wrap the thread's a few times and then screw it back in...easy fix

I agree 100%. I do not think I am missing anything by not being a squonker (unless you count MORE stuff to keep track of and rewick)
I just wish I could stop seeing a disapproving Jesus in my morning toast ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Still, I have some RTAs remaining out for use, but I'm a lot more particular now. My favorites remain my OBS Engines (1 and 2) and my "ancient" Pharaoh. Don't ask me how the Pharaoh could still be in rotation. but that odd tank still gives me great flavor and too much cloud than I should be getting off a single coil (still using the original clamp deck). Most everything else are back in their boxes for some uncertain future use.
Is this the Pharoah "dripper tank" rda you're speaking of?

He was pointing out that he's pretty certain that the pin on his RTA (the Hastur mini pictured) protrudes enough to use it in a hybrid mechanical mod. (Its a safety issue, pin must protrude for use in a hybrid)
He pictured it so if we all started screaming no no no, then he might rethink the endeavor.
The Colossal which has a broken 510 is a mod..

Good Morning!!!!
Good morning
Yes I know....my point was that if he had worries he could make it protrude a little more..
Yes I know the colossal
I just clicked through on my second BB....can't wait![]()
I'm confused on how plumbers tape can lengthen a 510 center pin?
It's interesting you mentioning that about your style changing because i'm going through the same thing...i think it started with pods.Good morning Shiners! Only thing I have on my list for today is making arrangements for that Z Biip I won, have to send $3 to Innokin by PP for FDA compliance. Pretty silly, but I totally understand Innokin wanting to be in compliance. I'm really looking forward to it as it's a perfect type of in between product I'll actually use. When I won an EQ pod and CF mini with a Zenith tank from them a while back I was like, eh, just my luck when I gave up on mtl a few years ago. Strange thing is I find them in regular use these days.
What's really weird is the EQ pretty much got my LV Orion stuck in the back of the drawer. Seems insane coming from me and my vape style, but I found for out and about I not only wanted small but also stealth. The Orion performs beautifully, but it does make enough vapor to lose stealth classification. The EQ is great anywhere, even in public places you can't vape. (not encouraging anyone) and no one notices. Not even the cop you didn't realize was standing 4 feet away from you. And with excellent flavor. I'm vaping a 12 mg Cannoli juice in it right now that's delish and satisfying. And it's got the same size battery so runtime is great. I ended up buying another on my own just for backup. Ans the Zenith 0.5 ohm coil, while hardly dl is a decent draw and also ended up in use. I don't even mind buying coils once in a while.
This should be a great in between for me. Replaceable Z coils so I don't have to keep buying pods and coils, a bigger battery (1500 mAh) and looks good in photos. Sorta like the Smok Nord idea with coils, except the coils fit other Innokin Z tanks and unlike Smok Innokin makes stuff that actually works. One of the most reliable mainstream manufacturers out there. I still have my Innokin Proton which remains my favorite small dual battery mods. I really love that box. I even stil have my CF4 18650 replaceable battery version that work great going on over 3 years now. I'm hoping Innokin did a good job putting this one together. I'll let you know when I have it and use it for a little bit.
But back on squonking, I woke up on the early side this morning so decided what the hell, why not. Cleaned, dry burned, and rewicked 4 attys is about 15 minutes. That's with 2 rinses, one before burn and one after to get off any remaining ash/crap, rechecking the resistance each time to be sure I didn't move the coils and mess things up, double check the grub screws that everything was nice and tight, and still done that fast. Now I have fresh tasting juice with minimal effort.

While I'm happy about my Innokin win, I still wish it had been that Purge squonk Don scored. That's an impressive prize.
I just wish I could stop seeing faces or animals in the resin panels![]()
I was never really a big cloud DL vaper, just mild restriction but an easy draw. I tend to like longer draws of 4-5 seconds, so I'm a big TC user so it doesn't get too hot at the end. Still I can build an rda for a mech squonk that still satisfies without getting overly warm. As I like those little 22 mm flavor rdas, I will admit I'm a fan of Delrin caps with the coil so close to my lips. I hate getting my lips scorched after a few draws on a metal cap. At least RTAs don't have that issue.

Never noticed.
easier to maintain maybe. Easier to have the juice right there when you want it mindlessly NO.Oh, no...the squonkless life
But seriously though you've got to admit that an RDA is so much easier to maintain. Just pop the cap and boom your there![]()
