buy the all black one and use some fine grade wire wool to make your own design :)
Cool idea but it would just expose the brass underneath. They use a special coating also used for firearms that's baked on. I don't trust my skills to do better than they can. I looked into home cerakoting using a standard kitchen oven a while back and it's kind of a pain in the ..... Plus, I'm waaay too lazy :D

Evening Shiny's :)

Busy day here...joined a BB group after and intro from someone, checked my tracking and my packets have cleared customs in Beijing....probably here next week i'm hoping. My new BB is just sitting at the sellers waiting to be packed...i'm a bit surprised as he's usually responsive...and a really nic guy too...??

I'm waiting for some pictures of some burl stabwood to choose from and then we'll do the deed...it'll have to be the right colour though :)

Actually it would depend on the primer they used underneath, if they do use primer....you'd have some really interesting colour changes going on :)

I think it's just monochrome color over brass for both solid and gradient versions. I am 100% certain I would end up destroying the finish if I attempted it, though. My lack of skill and motivation for such a project has convinced my better judgement for once :D

In looking at all they have on offer I really am liking the blue fade.. looks cool except for the white splatter so I think I like the red fade best..

As a matter of fact I think I'm putting that on my wish list.

The way things are going at the moment it'll take 6months worth of saving, but i rather like it!

Well, Georgia had her first kill if the season. Neighbor’s chicken got inthe yard, I didn’t see it in time, and she flipped that hen’s off switch.

Got that mess picked up, got air in the truck tires, gas for the mower and came home and started mowing. And there’s another stupid chicken in the yard. Took me 20 minutes to herd it out the gate. Georgia is no border collie, she likes to take no prisoners. But she listened really well, against her instincts, and assisted in escorting it off the property.

Hopefully I can finish the yard with no further barnyard drama.
I love Georgia. She is so tough.

Have to admit that's funny.. you'll probably want to mention it, and see if they will rectify the situation..

Oh, I've already contacted them. They were quick to reply and promised to send the right item along with tracking today. The wrong one they sent is essentially comped. Pretty sure they ship from a large distro as I've had several orders from different companies originate from that location.

Now comes the adventure of discovering the potential hidden delights of Unicorn Frappe!

Blech, my Unicorn Frappe "drop on the finger tip" initial taste test reminds me of old lady perfume.

On a tastier note, Florida Vapor Supply has a $5 off deal on The Cloud Chemist line with the code "chemist". Works out to $15.99 per 60ml. Not bad, considering.

Ugh... after I started mowing, I saw there was also a dead rabbit on the lawn, and not the kind that comes in SS. :(

What a day. I’m beat. And I deserve a prize.

I feel for you. My Alaskan Klee Kai is always chasing rabbits and other critters. After the disgusting mess of rabbit that I had to clean up while puking, I try to watch her closely but she is so danged fast.

    The Cloud Chemist

If it tastes like perfume then its likely they use alcohol based flavorings in that..

Let it breathe a few days before trying it again..

I should try that Cloud Chemist.. I've never tried it..
