Morning shinies :)

@Skeebo have a read of this thread on doing diy via a scale, as opposed to measuring with syringes. I tried syringes first, but found it so much quicker with a scale - you don't need to take the nozzles off flavouring bottles, just squirt (into your bottle or cylinder) hit tare, squirt in the next ingredient etc :thumb: Here's a link to an awesome diy startup guide by @Marc411 too.

You know me so well  The height of the Jac is the only thing holding me back, and that they are out of stock ;)
The Jac is pretty stable, even though it's tall and skinny. It's the same height as the SX Mini SL, and I knock that one over much more often, even though it's bulkier.

I'm a little confused what to do about that win.

Apparently I jumped the gun and messaged @Innokin_Paul on forum with my pertinent information - that's what I did with the last innokin win and everything was exchanged via forum.

But apparently they are talking to every one else via email.

He messaged me saying Rosa or someone would be in contact me via email and that never happened...

Then he messaged me on forum asking me what color i wanted, and before i answered he said oh nevermind Rosa (or someone) has me down as requesting white.

Well I never requested a color because no one ever contacted me asking me, so I messaged him back and told him this so then he asked me what color i wanted so I told him and he said okay no problem all fixed..

But no one has asked me for the 3 dollars and no one has messaged me saying they will soon be shipped..

So keep me informed, if you get yours and I don't have mine yet perhaps I should message Paul again..for now I'm figuring if they want anything they will contact me.

I'm not worried I guess, or not complaining anyway.. I just feel uneasy not really knowing if I'm doing the right thing..

I'm jumping back on this. I sent the $3 to payment@innokin.com by PP. Forwarded the confirmation email to Rosa.zeng@innokin.com. My response back was it was received, someone named Phil would he signing something and it would then ship to their US warehouse and be sent out from there.

You're lucky, no one asked me what color I wanted so didn't know I could put in a request. I guess I should PM back and see of that's still an option for me.

i did not go starter kit(not sure if they had them back then)just need a scale and be cheap like me,and have saved your old bottles.a gallon of vg,pg a liter of 100 mg nic, along with maybe 10 flavors.now that i type this ,maybe a starter kit is needed.:?:
Or you can do what I did and buy more than 150 flavors before you've mixed one drop.

P.S. No regrets.

You might try, I'm hooked up for the Navy Dune color. (Hopefully..)

Thanks for that information - I've gone ahead and done exactly like you said you did.. so hopefully it will go well..

found 30ml of a peaches and cream and custard that i mixed 6 months ago and i must say, that unlike me, it has really improved with age (think it was based on one of vaping with vic's recipes... on that site that can't be linked to). feel a litre coming on which I'll probably sell half of after a months steeping time.

afternoon all.
anyone used motley mods before? thinking about getting a PWM kit. think shipping would be around $13.
I've bought a few sleds, voltmeters and bezels from them. No issues and very reasonable shipping to Canada.

@lupinehorror ModMaker or Stealth in the UK would be your best bet for parts. Stealth is OOS on the excellent NLPWM boards and the little ones from ModMaker can be very noisy.
Morning Mist in France has the NLPWM boards in stock. you will have to fix the URL as ECF gags on the link.

Analog Box Mods in Canada has Big Al's iPWM board and the Voltrove SmartPWM V3, both are awesome PWM boards. He ships world wide through Canada post and is very reasonable.

I hate mixing but love the perks. Fast and easy was at the top of my "to keep doing this" list.:D

I actually enjoy mixing. Coils I hate. If there were an RBAs equivalent to dry cleaners, I’d spring for that with zero guilt.

But hey, when we build that vaper’s retirement home, we can swap skills, okay?

I was going to say that I've never shipped anything to Canada, but that's not true.
I sent all my cousins in Canada fruitcakes for Christmas one year.
They don't write anymore ...................
I've only shipped two things to that fine country. a titan rdta to the venerable @TrollDragon and myself. sadly, unlike the titan rdta i had to ship myself back.

I have a few of their 8ml silicone squonk bottles. Decent quality although the threadding on the caps could be smoother.

I’ve heard good things about those, but wasn’t a good choice for me. I went with a copper cooked memory foam. Softer than most, always feels cool like the other side of the pillow. Copper is supposed to also alleviate pain and whatnot. Don’t know if it’s the copper or just the support and not sweating to death, but I love this thing.

I think most of us just use our mattresses and our shoes long after that offer any support.
This is for sure true with me and mattresses (not shoes but I do not buy them for the support ;))
I bought a new mattress, a BeautyRest (please give me the firmest in the store) and then bought a huge queen size copper pad that goes on top of it. Supposed to help with pain. I bought this in 2016. I was 57 and this was the first time I bought a brand new mattress. Before that I always had someone else's that they were getting rid of because they were getting a new one. Crazy, I thought why the heck have I never just bought a new mattress? I had paid my house off by then. Paid huge sums of money for a nice barely used car and paid cash. Why in the world did I never think to replace my mattress with a new one? I sleep much better and I think the copper pad helps but sadly I wish I would have bought a motion bed now.
the grass is always greener over THERE

I know juice doesn't count as a shiny arrival, but I also did a bit of micro-mesh work on one of my pipes, bringing out a little shine:

This new Black Note Cigar flavor has a definite mild cigar-ish character to it, but lacks any complexity of flavor. However, dripping a couple drops of this on one side of the wick and a couple drops of one of my DIY cigar concoctions on the other side shows definite promise for a really nice blend.

I will probably buy a scale one day. Not opposed to it, just really never got around to it. DIY probably runs 4th in my list of hobbies and so much other stuff takes my money.
Who am I kidding, shoes and purses take most of my money...

I bought a scale on amazon for $12 and it works perfectly.

I like mixing it just takes awhile to motivate myself but once I’m actually involved with it I find it enjoyable.

Oh you better be posting that on the Stabwood thread! I just posted pics of a mod I’ve been working on with the micro mesh too.

It’s amazing the difference the micro mesh polishing can bring to stabwood.

Is fruitcake a horrible American creation or do the Brits and Canadians partake of that ghastly tradition too?
