We don't like it here but have 4 grandkids close by. Looking to move somewhere else but I don't know if that'll ever happen.
My parents, sister and my friends are here and my son has a lot of friends at his school. I grew up in LV but it isn't the same as it used to be.

Nope, but I listened to a lot of Tom Lehrer as a kid, and it's possible his song "Be Prepared" influenced me more than I realized.

I'm quite fond of fruitcake, myself. Made one a few years ago that I aged a year before eating. Delicious, if incredibly boozy. I still have some of it in the freezer, though it would probably have been fine in a cupboard, it's so full of cognac.

In the retirement community, I will happily mix for anyone who will do my building for me. Been a fairly avid cook since I was seven.

Sounds fair to me. My dinner tonight was toasted Frosted Strawberry POP Tarts so I’m happy with just about anything!!

And yes I’m in my mid 50s. Pathetic I know. I blame it all on my mom. :w00t:

I broke out the old steampunk after I killed a Zenith (well the Zenith is fine, I could just put a new coil in) but the Legend is like, well, the husband will need to carefully unscrew the remainder of the zenith out of it, because I'm not EVEN TRYING.

I also broke out every spare towel I had and coated my vape area. This is too much.

I want to buy something but mainly, because it was a HORRIBLE day. My dental appointment was BAD. So bad, I was like, "I am not paying for this crap EVERY single person and I explained my delicate dental situation was like "Go to your company dentist GO." So I did.

I was like, ,"K? You don't have a 360 degree scanner are you BLOWING me right now even brand new baby dentists get THAT. They jammed about 15 of like those tiny xray things in my mouth, the last time so HARD I was crying (and the dental worker did not EVEN try to like, remove her fingers. IN my chart is an X ray of my jaw... Plus FINGERS.

IF SOMEONE anyone had told me their scope of service, I would have been in Tucson this morning.

The dentist was mean, rude, tried to prescribe me an AbX LESS powerful than the one I have now and I am STILL all swole up.

I hope I don't get in trouble. Because I got a lot of "EVERYONE says why don't you have a scanner." IF my care is supposed to be the same as EVERONE's WELL. I guess it was.

The dentist was real mean, the dental hygienist snuck me out after I signed my bill by saying "I will be contacting my insurance company about my care." I bet I get in trouble. I BET I do.

But if this is EVERYONE's CARE, well??? I would have been ELSEWHERE today. The schedulers should know what can and cannot be accomplished.

The dental hygienist was sweet, she actually set me up with an implant guy in Sierra Vista after my dentist was like, "Eh he's never there."

I bet my boss tells me off tomorrow. But like EVEN if my dental insurance PAYS for that crap I only get so many insurance dollars per year, and they are MY Dollars.

It was worse than the Mexican dentist, and I'm not even kidding.

Oh well, I am supposed to UPHOLD good care so F them. I was like (I think my implants are fine I just have some weird infection somewhere ELSE so that's good/bad) but really it was one step up from "bite down on a leather strap and take belt of whisky while I pull your implant.

But only a very slight step. Like a 1/4 inch step.

It sucked.

Anna

Anna why would you get in trouble at work complaining about poor dental service with inadequate equipment?

Here's my Shinys for the day (finally checked the mail :D)

120ml of free vape juice from VapeBox (the deal that is linked in ECF) - a tobacco flavor, a fruit and a tea, 2 new 25R batteries and a Tigon tank and coils. This is my first tank so I'm pouring over the instructions since the device it goes on isn't here yet. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm a lazy chef too - microwaves, freezers and coffee keep me going

I had my first doggy RTA free day today. Well I snuck in a couple of puffs, just to wean myself, but other than that it's been the hastur mtl RTA and the centaur mini RTA.

    I even used 3mm id coils!!!!!!! ;)

I know how you feel. I missed out on the Tomorrowland Music Fest in Belgium last year. One of my favorite artists was there, looked like it was a great show.

    morning all.
the day of pay but all that has been clicked so far is 250ml of 72mg nic (registered as a business so can buy large volumes, luckily, in the UK but it ain't cheap. 250ml will keep me ticking over for a bit) and a payment to my credit card.
another frugal month, hopefully, awaits. sure assorted gubbins will be involved at some point.

x-rates currently shows $72.32CAD as £41.45. paypal believes it is £58.07. nope...no chance.

Thanks to angeNZ for inviting me to the shiny thread.
As a tester in the UK I get some lovely gear from the fine folks out in vapeland to play with so I will post what arrives here.
Yesterday. I received the soon to be released eleaf rim kit (7th may).

Looks zazzy and compact in hand for a 3000mah, 80w mod.
As I've said elsewhere. If you want a rundown of how it fared. Give me a pm and I will let you know.

    Morning Shinies :)

Not much is moving in the postal system. Got some small bits and pieces which arrived at customs last Friday....so might come today :)

They tend to do this actually...my chines post is regularly scanned and updated until it gets here and then they seem to stop....it often just suddenly turns up in the letter box....it's not that they can't find the barcode either as they always mark it delivered...bizarre.

Good morning Shiny addicts. I feel as if I’m failing at my Shiny membership. I haven’t bought anything other than consumables which are not shinys in a long time. At least 2 weeks. Maybe even 3. Time gets confusing when not waiting for vape mail and checking the calendar every morning.

It’s very bleak. I may have to find something I don’t need or really even want to get myself out of this funk.

All suggestions are welcome!! Have a Shiny Vape Mail kind of day everyone!!!
