Flying squirrels are no joke. I had a friend lose her whole house to them when they out out all the roofing wood. Made her whole roof collapse. Don't know if they're as friendly in your part if the world but here they're just much larger, cuter looking termites.
One of my neighbors had wood shingles on her A frame and the squirrels ruined it. She got revenge though, she went with a metal roof this time.

NZ has no squirrels or chipmunks or snakes or big spiders. It's pretty tame here compared to Aussie ;)

Our biggest creepy crawly is this lil fella:

It's a Giant Weta - completely harmless, and also extremely rare. We often see their smaller cousins hanging around at night. But they are only the size of your finger ;)

You know like, I lived in Sydney for SEVERAL years in middle school and not suburbia either I'd go swim where there were sharks and jelly fish and like, go riding out in the bush and stuff. I never saw a SINGLE terrible thing except a few funnel web spiders. And also, they would grab and air bubble and sink to the bottom of our swimming pool. NOTHING bit me. NOT ONCE.

Tucson doesn't have quite the same safety record I'm afraid. I sort of think that like, the beasties there are as angry as the inhabitants. The BEST thing about Tucson wildlife were the Coyotes, and that's only because we conversed.

Although, ever since like, I pretty much told that LAST live cockroach that "it could go kill itself and we were EQUAL we were BOTH dying only it was UGLY" I have yet to encounter another live one. A few dead ones, but no live ones.

Course, I kind of talked to it like a middle school aged girl, with withering jaded sarcasm.

I was a middle school aged girl in Sydney, maybe it's just that like EVERYONE fears the wrath of a middle school aged girl, even vermin.

All I know is, I'm going to be doing some experimental conversing with the critters around here. I have already met my firs Douglas coyote and he was majestic (mentally) compared to the coyotes in Tucson. They were like, mental in ......ation compared to my Douglas guy, he was pretty sweet.

So does anyone have a armageddon Zion rda? Cloudist.store has them for 20.00.

    I have one.

Got it free with one of my Armageddon MFG squonkers. It's a decent enough 22mm single. The deck is easy to build but the air holes in the barrel are placed so air hits the coil at a 45 degree angle on either side of the back.

It makes it so you can't really line up the air to hit the coil directly. It's perfectly functional, just not ideal. I'm not really a single coil rda guy but if I were going use one, I'd use something else.

E - Also gotta add, that 20 bucks would be much better spent on a 50% off Unicorn or Axial RDA on AR this weekend :D

    Hmmmm
House full of hunters large and small + a tiny flying object. Now let's think about that for a moment...

You're right. I'll never forget the lesson I learned at nine years of age from our family cat, aptly named Tiger. She caught my parakeet mid flight in the living room. The speed of said assault was impressive, but the fact that she caught the bird from a standing 9 foot leap was damn incredible. Death to funeral in a Converse shoe box within 30 minutes...... As a kid you just never knew when a life lesson was going to slap you in the face.

I found a 100ml of 29 Bears way in the back of the cabinet. It is delicious in the dripper. Nice change of pace. Good thing too, my stockpile is starting to run low, time to mix soon.

I only seem to run low on the one I can’t live without at the moment. I think I have 10 120 mls and 25-30 smaller bottles of everything, but I had to mix up some cinnamon danish. Had to. Couldn’t live without it. It’s all I can do not to vape up the 10 mls that’s ready while the new mix steeps.

Standard rule: talk at the animals all you want, but if they talk back seek medical help.

@Letitia have you heard of sugar gliders? It's like a mini flying squirrel. They make great pets if you can tolerate their nocturnal nature.
“Great” might be strong. “Less terrible than the average wild animal” I would buy. Better than armadillos for example.

my recollection of science tv shows is that the problem the giant wetas have is that there ARE mice, They’re just invasive, and they like to eat giant wetas who also live in the field mouse ecological niche. Or something like that. TV science shows have their issues. If you believe them NZ is stuffed with those dinosaur like cassuary (sp?) birds running around kicking people’s hearts out.

Makes me glad I never stayed on the lithium but was changed to something else.
It’ll be great when the house has been sold and hubby is there and things get into a routine.
    I’m happy for you!
Good move that. Lithium eats your liver. Sometimes it’s the only stuff that works though.

Sacrifice the 10ml steeped for a seed and new mix will steep in half the time.

Hi everyone. 12.15 pm here and it's a miserable looking day but quite typical of northern England, overcast but thankfully no rain or wind, 58°. Thinking I might have to do an RDA sorting out job today.

@Letitia What wire are you getting for the Dvarw, the Vandy Vape superfine by any chance?
