So the Axial really did arrive! (still waiting on the Biip). Very well done machining. Everything is nicely finished and clean. The top air adjustment is super tight but should be ok after a touch of lubrication. No pics yet as it's having a spa treatment in the UC before the inevitable "let's play" time starts. Just have to decide what to test it on and with.

Thank you, Eskie. That one made me like rda's again but have to find one with less airflow.

They exist, especially if a single coil build is ok for you. The flop side is try tend to have smaller juice wells, which is fine for squonking, but otherwise need frequent dripping

I was surprised at the weight of the biip, it’s more mod than pod. The shape makes it very pocket/jacket pocket friendly, but if I’m out for a quick jaunt, I’m more likely to grab the Flint. It’s slightly tighter draw than the same coil in a zenith, but with a slow draw I can dl inhale. I’m strictly mtl in ohms/wattage, but I never learned to not just suck it into my lungs. Apparently I spent 30+ years smoking incorrectly and just carried it over to vaping

Tracking said my other shiny mail was coming today, but it’s late. Oh well. Gives me something to look forward to tomorrow.

Rumor has it that Titus Welliver is single. It’s probably too soon to speculate if he grew that mustache for me, though. All the same, he knows all too well how I feel about a big fluffy cookie duster.

Single coil is all I need but small drip wells, I dunno about that one. Maybe I will dig out my old ones and see what I come up with. I was just so impressed with the build on that Tengu, so easy. So much easier than the Berserker, for sure.

    Well done!

    Thank you.

I'm a little late jumping in but I'm gonna jump in anyway...

My two favorite games are Trivial Pursuit and Monopoly.

My daughter was never actually very good at monopoly, or she was just so much younger that she was always the one to lose first.

Well it's no fun if your out of a family game, and as I was always the banker I would slide money and/or the occasional house out of the bank and into her hand.. it was no big deal everyone knew and it was an unspoken agreement. Playing was what was fun and no sense in her sitting out.

Well, one summer my sister's kids came to stay for a couple weeks and oh wow.. apparently my sister had no such penchant for keeping the children in the game, because when we tried to play monopoly with my niece and nephew, not 20 minutes into the game the boy was crying saying we were cheating and all traumatized because we didn't play "according to the rules" and we were "loud".. (I don't know what that meant other than we were laughing and joking and he wasn't used to it)..

He literally started bawling over the way we played... I was like wow.. no fun in my sister's house I take it.. lol..
    Hey, capitalism is serious business.

Since I know some of you are reviewers, would you look at my first ever review and see if it is ok?

    Geekvape Tengu RDA
    Looks great.
Perfect. You approach the review personally which is what I like about forum reviews.
How where the o rings. Geekvape often have strong o rings which can be hard for those with dexterity issue's. Both the tsunami and medusa reborn almost gave me hernia getting the top off, lol.

    Morning shinies :)

@NolaMel I vape my innokin EQs that way - figures that on the tightest draw I DL but airier attys I mtl :w00t:
I guess you really can’t teach an old dog new tricks... if it’s too airy, I just choke and hack . Thus my love for a loose mtl/tight dl tank. Easier to just find a tank that matches my vaping style ;)

    You still liking the Hastur?

So built out the Axial with a simple spaced Clapton 26G core 6 wraps 3.5 mm ID came in at 0.60 ohm. Lots of cotton to fill out those two juices wells with only a single coil. Cut the legs at 5 mm, which seems good to me. Vaping some French toasty thing on a Topside at 44W. Using the 3 holes rather than the whole slit.

Overall pretty easy to build. Probably easier with a flat fused Clapton but far from a problem. All the screws are nice and smooth and the o rings just fine with a touch of juice on them. Top cap fits well, not overly tight or loose just tight. The AF part turns well after a little juice therapy.

The vape is seriously yummy. I know this juice well and the flavor is spot on. With the 3 holes it's virtually silent on the draw. Haven't even tried the slots, as probably too much sir for my taste, but probably with a dual you might need it to keep things from getting too hot.

The coil is up like on a DR. Squonking doesn't quite reach the coils but with lots of cotton it wicks just fine. The air comes in right at the coil, so no problem with it swishing around just the top like on a DR or other air set attys. Combine it all and it's a stellar deal. Even at $40 it's worth a buy. The machining is terrific. I looked at it under a glass and while it is black it still looked all nicely finished.

The metal 810 is also beautifully done, but metal, so switched out for the Delrin. I wish the whole Delrin top cap airflow part had been on stock as I hate hot tops near my tender lips. But unless really chain vaping it, it doesn't seem to overheat.

IMO this is a winner for me. Great single flavor experience, and while I haven't tried it yet I expect a dual coil build with the air a bit more loose would be superb if a little too cloudy for me. The post holes really are large, tough to think of what wouldn't fit in there. For $20, even with the $6 shipping expense, it's a bargain.

Oh, that's without the beauty ring. I forgot to put it on. It's also a really nicely finished piece of metal.
